Once, I would have been interested in every bit of Disney content. In the last 12 years, only four films have interested me. They’ve made a lot more than that. From the numbers, it looks as though they’re in the red on production cost vs. rentals for the last four years in a row. They need to rewin former customers like me.
If they were to cancel the movie, It would make cost money but it be the step in the right direction to save Disney from losing face any further. Next step would be getting rid of owl house.
At first I was mad because i heard that she was going to be really dark skinned hispanic, and that she looked nothing like a princess, but when I found out it was rachel zegler, i was like oh my gosh she is perfect! Good luck rachel!
I dont care about Casting
My issue is with the Director and Producer.
You want to make a Woke story,fine Create One.
But dont piggy back off classics that many love.
Dont ruin them by hiring people who hate the Story.
I mean once you change everything about the story.
You’re just Cheaply stealing the Name cause you know otherwise no one would watch it.
Some Remakes are Great
But those are the ones who like the Original Story.
I dont mind updating some stuff but you cant change everything about the story and call it the same
They should just take the loss. Ziegler cannot carry a role, as she is a very poor excuse for an actress. The woke story they are telling, not many people want to see, so they are going to lose money on it any how. Disney is an insult to what the founder Walt, created. So sad to see.
This same story has been rehashed for months. We already know it’s being released next year. I keep hoping I’ll read that they shelved the damn movie, staring a little brat that thinks she’s Meryl Streep.

Good riddance to remaking GREAT Animated stories and removing the idea of fantasy from our youth. one of the many key reasons today’s generation is such a mess, is they’ve lost the ability to creatively think. They see a meme, movie, anything and think its real life. The casting (although clearly a mistake with this movie) isn’t the main problem, its new stories and IF you want to remake a movie, stick to the story, leave woke home. I’m still looking for Rafiki in life action (computer generated) Lion King. Another movie remake not needed.
