If I brought a device that produces bubbles and sprays them on guests Disney would probably have me arrested and banned for life. If they sell it, no problem.
Honestly, my bigger problem is when the bubbles end up in my food and drink, this is a real problem. Yeah, it isn’t toxic, but it makes it taste bad. Unfortunately too many parents let their kids shoot them off around food.
While visiting the park in January, we used the light up portion of a bubble wand to make my mom’s mobility scooter more visible because people kept running her over. It doesn’t stop everyone, but it made helped a lot and made her a bunch more visible in the darker areas of the park during the evenings.
Sometimes bubble wands can be useful. Also, if you need a bubblewand to calm a tantrum, get the bubble wand. I would much rather walk through bubbles than deal with a tantrum tbh.

I’m with spooky, people tend to forget the parks are for kids too and kids love them. I have been going to WDW since 1972 and gave never had my clothes stained or the bubbles get into my food or drink. Do I advocate an adults only day, yes but I would much prefer dwaling with the bubbles than an unhappy child and bottom line bubbles make kids happy!

I love the bubbles, but agree that they shouldn’t be used in sit down food areas. I would much rather see a happy child than listen to the tantrum and screaming children that parents let affect everyone else’s day. Bubbles are fun
Big time Disney fan here. NEVER in the countless times have the bubbled stained my clothes or gotten into my meals or drinks.
The Littles love them, makes me smile to see their delight.
Chill people, it’s not all about you!
I’m sorry but with all that is happening in the world and people are going to complain about bubbles in the parks. Let kids be kids and have fun while they can. Life is too short to complain about the little things that bring joy
I am allergic to preservatives commonly found in soaps (anything water based). I run from the bubbles to avoid an allergic reaction. For me it was at Disney springs, so not just child oriented and avoidable like the parks.
Once thousands have allergic reactions that is how Disney bans. Peanut based products needs to completely go. Bioengineered and Chemical food leads to new food allergies.
Bubbles vs a child that’s crying or throwing a tantrum, especially an over-stimulated, over-tired child? Bubbles, hands down. Same answer if the child is having fun. But parents need to parent and remember others are also in the park so pay attention where you are and definitely not in the eating establishments.
This has to be the dumbest thing that any park goer has complained about. I saw someone say they have an allergic reaction to the soap and it’s the only reasonably thing that anyone has said. Seriously. It’s just bubbles. The theme parks are not gonna stop selling bubble wands so get over yourselves.
I am a Disney Adult, and the bubbles are not an issue if the parents would monitor their children and if they are tired or cranky, giving them a bubble machine, away from people and crowds is ok.
There should be a sign when they buy the bubble machine, that it is not allowed to work in crowds. Just like NO Smoking!
Easy solution, and if they do blow the bubbles in a crowd the Cast, can ask them not to. Continue and you get kicked out of the park. Just follow policy!
I don’t fully appreciate the bubble wands because I always get hit in the eyes. I wear contacts and having to take them out and rinse them while it also burns the crap out of my eyes is not fun for me. I get it makes kids happy, but shouldn’t I be able to enjoy my day without burning bloodshot eyes?
I kinda like the bubbles; they’re fun and it does make small children happy (far better than a cranky kid). But yes, parents need to have them off in eating areas, and in crowds waiting for a parade or fireworks. During those times they can be a real problem for other guests. But walking around and seeing a trail of bubbles is cool.
It is called the magic Kingdom for a reason.Children are allowed to be children even adults. Are allowed to be children if you don’t have a child.Don’t condemn another parent.Who has children for letting their children blow bubbles? If you don’t like it go elsewhere.
How petty Get a life!!!!
I don’t mind the bubbles if it makes the kids happy. What I dislike is, we were eating at Casey’s and the family next to us had a child that kept their finger on the button. I politely asked if they could stop until we finished eating. The Mother proceeded to rip the bubble machine out of the kids hand and said the mean lady next to us doesn’t like your bubbles. So the kid then continued to scream the rest of my meal.
I love the bubbles they’re fun to walk through and ne and my little brother love to pop them while walking, when we were little my mimi would pull out our old ones and we would play on the porch ❤️ bubbles are happy memories for me and my family
My grandson has autism and he’s 14. I don’t buy the bubble wands anymore but he still enjoys walking thru the bubbles when other kids are playing with them. Parents should supervise and adults trying to ban them maybe just calm down.
Big time Disney fan here. NEVER in the countless times have the bubbled stained my clothes or gotten into my meals or drinks.
The Littles love them, makes me smile to see their delight.

I agree. Now yes, I am a childless adult but at one point I was also a kid. What do all kids love? Bubbles. It’s not anything new. Wanna know what all kids AND parents hate? We all hate sticky fingers, sticky clothes and spilled bubble solution everywhere. Now of course, this is a design problem for most bubble wands, but the Disney ones are extremely problematic for their extremely low quality which causes them to break within hours of purchase. Now I don’t mind bubbles because they’re bubbles, but Disney needs to redesign their current bubble wands so they don’t break as easily
My question is, what would you rather have? A screaming kid throwing themself all around and possibly even bumping into you a few times, or some bubbles floating around? And if you still want to be petty about it, well the how about being the adult you are supposed to be and come prepared maybe? Instead of wearing your contacts, wear your glasses that day. I love going to our local boardwalk on a regular basis during the summer with my husband even though I have epilepsy. I know the flashing lights will mess me up and at least give me a headache if not cause an actual seizure itself. So what do I do? I wear blue lens sunglasses once it starts to get dark outside, and if necessary, I also avoid looking at the lights as well. Am I going to say, “Hey, I have epilepsy. So can you just have the lights on but not flashing?”
Ridiculous!
Disney Parks are magical and floating bubbles comes along with that whole thing for kids. Adults should bend to that and make whatever changes in themselves and for themselves. Parents should also monitor their kids and teach them to be responsible and safe with the wands by being aware of their surroundings and how they hold them. However, that’s an impossible task for really young ones.
I’m a childless adult and I love the bubbles!!! Instead of getting upset about the bubbles, how about getting upset with the parents who don’t want to parent their children! We should be holding the parents accountable for their children’s behavior. If you don’t want to parent then don’t have children! Ooooo, how about a timeout zone for the parents and their kids? Just a thought.
The bubble wards are beyond annoying. Even our three children dislike them. Some children seem to delight in pointing the wands directly at other people knowing it bothers them and the have the bubble wand going off while you are eating is beyond disgusting. Band them!
I find the light sabers to be far more annoying than the bubbles. I would rather be hit with the bubbles than the light sabers. I can’t begin to tell you how many times I have been hit in the face, the back of the head or to had dodge from being hit. I understand the attraction to these items and parents buying them for their child I just wish that they would teach them that the Park is crowded and they need to wait and wave and toss them around when they return to their hotel or home.

If people on Reddit are so butthurt about the bubble wands and the bubbles going everywhere how about…not going? That’s an easy solution!
Leah
If you are that petty about bubbles, then stay home. Maybe you have no business at Disneyland. Theres worse things then bubbles.
Kyle
Maybe you should stay at home and then bubbles wouldn’t be there.
