  1. You’re exactly right! This is a pattern that hurts storytellers, cast and crew of these wonderful projects that are shelved or cancelled before the story can be told. David Zaslav does not care about art, only cash flow since that is what his pay is based on. (And he sold his shares on January 8th, the day before he cancelled Our Flag Means Death, and the stock has continued to fall since then.) We are rallying to get picked up by another streamer. Thank you for covering this topic! All WBD is achieving is alienating their fans maybe irreparably and creating the precious cash flow that Zaslav’s bonus depends on which is all he cares about. Are they even appeasing Wall Street? Their stock has tanked and is continuing to tank. Let’s keep supporting artists! Let them tell and finish their stories!

Coyote vs. Acme was the last straw. I’m a huge Looney Tunes fan and had been looking forward to this movie ever since it was greenlit back in 2018. Now I am not only refusing to give money to WB for their movies, tv shows, video games, or merchandise ever again, but I will be going out of my way to help other people avoid doing the same. What used to be one of the best studios in the business has now become the worst and the sooner they’re killed by their debt and picked apart in a liquidation fire sale, the better.
