Floridians should not be subjected to a state budget that includes paying legal bills to fight “woke” ideas. Ron DeSantis is the most reckless and destructive governor we’ve had in the 56 years I’ve lived in Florida.

      Move.

      1. Nae

Nope. We lived here longer than that fool. Five generations on the same property all this time. This nonsense of sending the Florida State Guard, his private army, only answerable to him, unlike the National Guard, is being sent to Texas, and we, lucky us, get to foot the bill for that with our tax dollars, is the last straw for me. I will do every single thing I can to make sure he never governs anywhere ever again.

I agree. If he has individual donors that can give him 130 million dollars to run around the country proving himself to be the fool we thought he was, then they can pay his legal bills too.

        I agree!!

        Correct!!

      2. MF

Blah Blah Blah. Disney lost. DeSantis ‘28. Get over it.

      3. Wokey Dwarf

When you read through all the comments, do you ever notice how poorly written the ones by DeSantis supporters are? It totally tracks that they would be the least educated. The grammar-challenged “word salad” that spews out of them is laughable. Here’s a tip: Try some punctuation, buttercup. LMAO *munches popcorn and enjoys the show*

        1. As I watch Disney’s stock continue to slide.

          1. Johnno

It’s been rising for weeks. Way to make stuff up.

          2. Jim

I have Disney in my portfolio which has made me a bundle. Stop the lies!

        2. How can it be a massive bill, when it’s donations? Nice try.

        3. Joel

Florida should support Disney. Not fight there existance. Desantis is wrong and will loose on appeal.

          1. Lois

            Yes!!

        4. Not-a-sheep

When you have to resort to becoming the grammar police, you’ve lost.

          1. Wokey Dwarf

Just like people who have to resort to insults like “snowflake”, right? When that’s all they can bring to the table, they start from a losing position.

        5. 1776

You certainty are a “wokey dwarf “. MOVE!!

          1. Wokey Dwarf

And you “certainty” fit my description perfectly. Thanks for proving me right in the most amusing way.

      4. Midniteangel

You are soooo right. Ron is the only gov who had the balls to stand up to DISNEY PEDOS!!! Ron is the only one to actually do something about illegals. Ron is a Navy man and knows military. Ron is a family man and loves FLORIDA and AMERICA. He is the best gov of any state!

        1. Sam

          100%

        2. Denise

Illegals? You mean when he doesn’t Florida money to take then out of Texas even FURTHER into the US for sanctuary?

And he sure loved Ft Lauderdale suffering historic flooding while he was politicking in another state, only to cover home and refuse federal funding to improve flood infrastructure.

I guess he loves Floridians, though! The ones needs shafting with his legal bills while failing to fix the broken insurance problem.

But he loves Florida! By punishing innocent citizens because he’s mad a mouse stopped giving him money.

Sure glad he loves America. If hate to see what he could do if it hated it.

        3. Jim

Ron is egotistical and power hungry, trying to steal DJTs thunder. He’s a sad little man. He’ll do or say anything that makes him look like the big man for the uneducated people in our state.

    3. Trent

Well that is just what quality work looks like. You ever seen anything rise up from nothing? You ever worked hard in your life? Experienced a construction site? A excavation, or prescribed burn? It looks reckless for those not involved and unable to fathom what solving real world problems looks like

      1. Dodger

Thanks for saying that. I watched Walt Disney World rise up from nothing. It was all swampland before. Creating an entire resort from nothing that sticks around for 50 years and becomes Florida’s biggest employer is what quality work looks like, and arranging a special self-governing district to take the burden off local taxpayers is what solving real world problems looks like. I appreciate you acknowledging that.

    4. Brian

Ron DeSantis is the best governor this state has ever seen. Think of what the alternatives could have been…Gillium likes his meth, and Christ is in John Morgan’s pocket.

      1. Car

DeSantis is a horrible governor and a vindictive little person. So glad he won’t be president but we still have to suffer his government for another 3 years. I hope Florida can get through this period.

    5. Gmabecky

That’s your opinion. Move to CA!

    6. Liz

      Agree

  2. she

Thank you Gov for doing the hard work. Perhaps one day soon Disney will wake up and discover that they were fools to follow the Woke crowd and return to the dream… a place where families can enjoy the magic without having to cover their children’s eyes/ears to the baloney they are trying to spread for less than 1% of the population.

  3. Jacob

Give it a rest Nathan. How left can this Newsbreak get.

  4. Paul West

This a left wing liberal slant against a Governor that has done everything right for the State of Florida. This story should be retracted and those responsible for the posting should be reprimanded. What a terrible way to treat a respectable person.

    1. Aj

Boo hoo This man is a threat to democracy. He has done nothing right.

  5. Drew

As a FL resident for 34 of my 44 years, I can say that I fully support DeSantis, his agenda, and his actions as our elected Governor. Which is a lot more than anyone can say about the current presidential administration, as they stumble and fall through the last 11 months of their terms. LGB

    1. Dodger

You mean the administration that “stumbled” into fixing our economy? Prove me wrong. LMAO

      1. Wokey

Right! Not to mention the historic climate change and infrastructure legislation it “fell” into achieving!

    2. 1776

      Great comment!!

      1. Dodger

        Thanks. I thought so, too.
