Listen, use the option of “kids profile”, mine don’t even see some classics G rated. It works. Why not just teach people how to use parental controls. And use a pin password to adult profiles. Done.
Are they actually serious,I live in the UK and the stuff that is on normal TV is often outrageous, the government is out of touch with what kids can get access tothey need to get a grip ,it’s up to parents to monitor the kids not them
With the merger with Hulu services, now when the grandkids search for something to watch, they see the image for movies and shows that are not age friendly. Yes o understand that k can use the parental controls but that’s not what I signed up for. There should be an option to keep Hulu content off of the Disney+ app.
Disney owns Fox now, and people are just worried about what it means that they’re merging with Hulu? Besides, Disney has owned studios that make TV-MA and R rated movies for many years. It’s not like they’ve had squeaky clean noses. Set parental controls and leave it at that.
Well, there’s always that time interval where parents haven’t set controls yet or the possibility that they trust Disney enough to not think these types of shows with such graphic content will be available for children. Also, some parents are not vigilant enough, or could be neglectful in general. They maybe don’t know what their kids are watching on TV. They could be a single parent, or at work or are just unaware. In any case, Disney is abusing their name and image as being safe for kids and tainting it with yucky stuff. They need to clean it up.
I believe both the parents and Disney responsible. Some parents aren’t as vigilant as others and they aren’t aware of what their kids are watching. Disney has sold its brand for decades as family friendly entertainment. I believe that there shouldn’t be any room for ideologies and agendas in children’s books/movies/tv/media/entertainment. Disney is going too far with the products they are promoting to kids. Not every parent knows how to use parental controls or even how to make it lock proof. Education and compassion are needed for issues like this.
