I think Disney needs more physical media in the United States, and to have the physical media films released on Disney+ in the United States, and have their Disney+ films released on physical media in the United States.

I think the doubling of the price in the US also is taking its toll. After 4 years of being a member I have cancelled due to the cost. Tried the ad version but got sick of the numerous ads. I get they need the ads for revenue but they appear to be action based rather than time based. So of my kids start a movie they get 3-5 ads. Then after 30 minutes of one movie they switch to the next and get hit by another 3-5 ads. Disney+ Ads still isn’t as bad as Paramount with ads but it’s bad enough to push me away.

The Problem is that Bob Iger and Disney continues to allow their studios to create socially ideological biased based media which hurts viewership.

It’s rather simple, if I created a business that at one time catered to a large swath of consumers but then on a whim decided to cater more so to only half of those consumers, then I would lose near half of my business unless I could pursuade enough consumers to switch.

Disney tried that model, and when it failed instead of reverting and trying to fix their mistakes they doubled down on that model, then tripled down and yet the Board is wondering why the vast losses in revenue?

And at this point, I’m not sure they can right the ship, too much damage to their brands.
