It better be something Walt would approve of or you will be in big trouble !!!

    1. 8

Because traditional families are toxic, they need gay transgender characters.

      1. Wokey Dwarf

Last time I checked, they had both. One is not replacing the other.

        1. Go Woke Go Broke

The only ones who are toxic are those who believe activism and entertainment are a good mix.

          1. DeSantis is a douche

LOL….guess you don’t know how to read stock reports…. their stocks are going up.

        2. Daniel

Hahahaha!!!!! Okay!? Let’s go on a count of all the well adjusted regular 2 – parent families in recent Disney history that are portrayed in a good light and then defend this anti – everything decent in the world super conglomerate of a corporation!

      2. Dh

Who are you calling toxic? Your sick.

      3. JS

That ideology is exactly what is killing them now. this is not an adult entertainment company. This is a company that used to be safe for families with small children. That is what it was built on. Most parents do not want FORCED exposure to that ideology for their children. ALL families have the potential to be toxic. Cross dressing does not save you from being a toxic person. Nor does it protect anyone from a toxic family life.

        1. me

YOU are NOT forced to watch anything Disney if you don’t want to.

          1. Dangerousfreedom

Thats disneys problem, isnt it? They are making bad content, telling traditional families dont watch…and they arent. Which is half the country.

        2. Carolyn

          BRAVO!

    2. Don’t Change
we like it the way it is. Don’t listen
      to haters.

    3. Ad

Disney messaging is often both polarizing and political at a time when 60% of people just aren’t interested in going to the cinema anymore. Most would rather watch in the comfort of their home, often with better quality screens and kids have other forms of entertainment. Cinema is 20th century entertainment and a hard sell today. Especially when good TV can compete in depth, character and story with more time to tell it.

  2. Paul Jenkins

Frankly, I don’t see why Disney doesn’t go with ‘The Incredibles 3’ while Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, John Goodman, and Samuel L. Jackson are still around.

  3. Daquan Harrison

    Incredibles 3

  4. best that Disney Shape up and Shape up quick otherwise 2026 will be Disney happily never after.

  5. Old Solder

It not a “so called woke agenda”. It IS a woke agenda.

    1. zara

      What is?

      1. Tyler

Every Disney movie needs to be about a straight white man or else Old Soldier is gonna throw a tantrum. He’s fine with minority characters — as long as they’re limited to love interests (female characters), wise-cracking sidekicks (non-white characters) and erased altogether (queer characters). Any other acknowledgment of the existence of non-white men is having an agenda shoved down his throat”.

        1. Gary

Well Tyler read further down and it would apply to you too ! Do not talk down to old veterans and newer veterans and for that matter active duty male & female is that UNDERSTOOD !!

          1. Get Over Yourself

At least Tyler knows how to spell “soldier.” There’s an “i” in. Is that UNDERSTOOD?

            Bahahahahahaha!

      2. Sherry

Let’s come up with original stories and move on from sequels.
Who wants to ay big bucks on a sequel when it’s basically the same story from the original.

        1. TrashPanda

EXACTLY. These big announcements are sequels and live action remakes. No creativity left at Disney it seems.

Not just Disney, there is a creative malaise infecting Hollywood in general.

        2. Go Woke Go Broke

They can’t because they suck. Turning Red, Soul, Elemental, Wish. I rest my case. Turns out, activists don’t know how tell compelling stories, only force their ideologies.

    2. Wokey Dwarf

You say that like it’s a bad thing. It’s NOT a bad thing.

      Also, what’s a “Solder”?

      1. Walt

Yes it is – most normal people are sick and tired of the political elites, sexual deviants and lib tards shoving this crap down our throats. Buy a clue

        1. Wokey Dwarf

Yet another arrogant commenter who claims to know what “woke” means and yet can never define it properly, and then proceeds to hypocritically shove his idea of “normal” down other people’s throats, while replacing critical thinking with juvenile insults – the last resort of insecure people with a crumbling position trying to appear confident. Enjoy this opportunity to express your whiny opinion if it helps you to continue venting frustratedly from the wrong side of history as the world keeps changing around you. You’re destined to live out the rest of your life as a powerless keyboard warrior with no ability to effect real change. Stay proud.

          1. Richard

            I like chicken

          2. Gary

Well Wokey Dwarf, Old Soldier and me another old soldier could do somethings to you where you would not be the same the rest of you life. Just think about this with your pea brain without all the old soldiers and the active duty ones now you might not be alive now !!!

          3. Wokey Dwarf

Tsk tsk, some people’s buttons are so easily pushed, aren’t they? Thanks for helping to prove me right, Gary. You not only resorted to insults like your buddy Walt, but you made idle threats as well. You keep doing what you need to do to boost your self-esteem on a Disney page, I guess. I’d thank you for your service, but you’re already quite a prideful fellow. Too bad a military career doesn’t help a person with grammar and punctuation.

        2. MARK

Who forced any of this on you. If you don’t want to watch then don’t.
Stay in your box of limited perspective and closed mind ND leave the rest of us to enjoy our choices. Thanks and have a nice day!

          1. Dangerousfreedom

We arent. Unfortunately for disney, no one is. They lost over a billion dollars on their bad movies no one watched last year. Dial of diarrhea anyone?

    3. Not All Change is Good

Fun fact: Being transphobic and heteronormative is normal. If you disagree, get help. You’re broken.

      1. Shaggygorilla

Wow is someone butt hurt because someone not normal in what they believe

  6. Firefly

What Disney is it telling you is that their company is completely dead until they stop going woke.

  7. Firefly

    ISN’T

    1. Wokey Dwarf

Thanks for making that correction. Smart, critical thinkers like us know that their company ISN’T completely dead until they stop going woke.

      1. Nia

        Nothing is wrong with woke

  8. Jacob Allen

I think the 2026 line-up is pretty good, but we also need “Encanto 2” and “The Incredibles 3” to be made and released at some point, along with the others that we’re excited about.

  9. Bokephus62

Disney leadership first needs to leave the Classics alone ! And not every animation needs to become live action. Remember what got you here , find your path again.

  10. Robin

I don’t understand most of the comments. Seems like most people aren’t focused on the movies, but instead on attacking each other’s agendas or whatever and they aren’t even making sense.
At any rate, I don’t think that Toy Story 5 will do well since Toy Story 4 wrapped it up and gave us closure to the toys’ story. Why would they want to dive back in and change the happy ending we were satisfied with? My toddlers love Toy Story though so I’m sure we will see it.
I think Frozen 2 left an opening for a third installment and the ending wasn’t as final as Toy Story 4’s was. There are lots of possibilities for plots and I can’t wait to see what they do with it.
As far as Encanto 2, I don’t see what they could do with that because the whole problem was solved and wrapped up in the first one. I’m excited for Moana 2, I hope the music is as good, but what is she going to do this time? Does the island need saving ‘again’??? That’s kind of boring.
When they do originals they come up with stuff like Strange New World and Wish so I think sticking to sequels of what works may be the way to go. If they do them right.
Oh and btw, I like Disney’s inclusive characters and stories and I think they are very brave and progressive to prominently include all types of families and a variety of love interests for the characters. I don’t think it’s an ‘agenda’ at all. It’s simply reflecting society as it is. People come in all shapes and sizes and colors so why shouldn’t movie characters.

    1. T

Disney made a huge mistake turning against Johnny Depp before the trial, swallow your pride and bring him back for a new Pirates of the Caribbean movie its a no Brainer

  11. Glenn

Wish was a movie about how it all started. The story was OK but needed work. Disney didn’t market as such. I don’t care who or what is in a movie as long as the story is good. Strange world would’ve been better if we had an idea that their world was small. The turtle aspect is a direct ripoff of another author. I’m personally tired of all the marvel movies.

  12. Brian

I just tired of all the remakes. Is there no more imagination at the Disney studios?
One fairy tale I would love to see brought to life is King Midas and the Golden Touch.
    But stop remaking things.

  13. Joseph

Funny people say Disney is dead… guess they haven’t been to the parks lately… even in Jan and early Feb there are long waits.. people will continue to go to Disney… it would be nice if they would let annual pass holders go to the parks when they want and not limit it or make them have a reservation… and maybe lower the prices a little for everyone..

  14. K Bruce

It’s “Colombian musical fantasy”, not “Columbian.”

  15. Jimmy

Haha get out your done your through woke schisters

  16. Jim

Disney should change its name to queen world.. honesty is the best policy

    1. Wokey Dwarf

That wouldn’t be very inclusive, though. There are plenty of princesses, too.

  17. Carolyn

Disney has gone so far off Walt’s path I don’t think it will ever get back on track. From the changes in parks/resorts to their ruination of the Star Wars franchise and sad attempts at updating old favorites by use of live action, I’m very disappointed in the company and its lack of originality. So I think the 2026 line up is doomed.

    1. Steve

Disney will be back on track after Congress breaks it up under antitrust like Teddy Roosevelt’s administration would’ve and after I seize Disney in a corporate raid like Saul Steinberg nearly did in 1984, I will make Disney great again and have all decisions be made by asking “What would Walt do?” again.

      1. Dodger

And the answer will always be “Walt would laugh at you, shake his head and walk away.”

        1. Steve

You don’t know Walt and quit acting like you do. You never met him or anyone worked for him and you’ve never been to any parks. Walt and Ronald Reagan would’ve ratted you out in front of the HUAC as the communist you are and had you blacklisted like I will do to hundreds of Disney “activists.” The Cold War is alive and well. Like Walt wouldn’t have I won’t be letting in undesirable demographics like yours in the parks. Disney under me will be making movies aimed at 1950s and 60s audiences turning kids into clones of their parents and grandparents.

          1. Dodger

You’re correct. I don’t know Walt. I AM Walt. The myth about me being cryogenically frozen is absolutely true and I’ve been living secretly in Club 33 since I was thawed out. Don’t ever question my authority again or presume to know what I’d do, or so help me, I’ll send out a battalion of state-of-the-art animatronic soldiers assembled from the discarded remnants of Splash Mountain. Don’t test me, fella.

            *shakes head and walks away*

          2. Steve

Sure you’re Walt and I’m the great and powerful Wizard of Oz. Who are you kidding? I have ways of contacting Walt via seance and soon time travel. I stand by what I said. Some aren’t worthy of enjoying Disney parks just as Salazar Slytherin said some weren’t worthy to learn magic. And FYI Splash Mountain is not closed and will be at WDW for its 75th in 2046. and Disneyland’s centennial in 2055 long after the Make Disney Great Again movement has cleansed the company via a De-Igerfication policy. It’ll be like Card Walker, Ron Miller, Michael Eisner, and Frank Wells returned.

          3. Dodger

Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.

            Baaaahahahahaha!

  18. wansai ounkeo

This doesn’t seem at all to adress the problem that Iger himself identified, which is that story-telling had to be the primary focus of Disney movies, not the messaging that has been present in recent films.

If the next batch of movies still produce with the same activist messaging, they will continue to underperform.

  19. SocAlsAm

Magic is gone from the House of Mickey.
Hopefully the Disney influence on copyright rules will be changed back to the original copyright periods. This would release everything made up to around 1950 to the public domain.
Disney is suffering, as are the arts, from the way Disney has controlled the copyrights of their intellectual properties.
Reedy Creek as well as the Gina and Elon attack on Disney clear use of criminal level of discrimination.
The Gina and Elon legal case will set up a tort template that the Lawyers will use to milk Disney of funds.
The.USA parks are worn and look shabby (Anahiem especially). The news that the Japanese park is in much better shape.
So 2026 will likely be pivotal year: Discrimination Torts, Park condition, and the lose of copyright control will also impact the House of Mouse deeply.

  20. Jim wyllie

First they need to fix the problems with theatrical release scheduling so theur movues specifically animated aren’t losing out due to an over saturated market and timing of seasonal fair , and better balance when they put movies that were in theaters on streaming say wait at least for or 5 months to better motivate people to see movies in theaters

  21. Youcantwritethiscrap

So, you turn your back on 99% of the country in the name of inclusion? Wait….what?

    1. Dodger

So, you turn your back on facts and make up a random statistic? Apparently, you CAN write this crap.

  22. Abby

I’m awfully tired of animated movies being turned into live movies, and stories being changed as to not offend people!

  23. Mike

If Disney will distance itself from the woke “culture” and get back to wholesome family entertainment I believe it would fair much better.
Just my opinion but I’d be willing to say I speak for the “majority” of our population.

  24. Damian

Disney has the problem now that everything comes to Disney+ very quickly nowadays! I know wish was 3 month’s but several movies are on Disney+ 30 day’s after the cinema release the average family can pay £11 and they can all watch it 30 days later or pay £36 to view at the cinema the savings are a no brainer! Disney need to release films onto Disney+ a year or 18 month’s later so people will go back to the cinema. Same goes for all studios wonka on sky store to rent 30 day’s later than the cinema so pay £15 get 10 friends round to watch it they’ve paid £1.50 each instead of £12 each at the cinema so the studios are loosing money! I can’t understand how the people who organise the release windows can’t figure this out and get big pay packets

  25. DEFINITLEY NOT WOKE

I refuse to even watch most new Disney movies. I don’t think Disney is the place for woke ideology. We don’t need to burden our children with this. Let them be kids and decode who they are for themselves. Everyone can be who and what they want. It becomes a problem when you push it on children.

    1. Dodger

You’re good at contradicting yourself. First you say that you refuse to watch most Disney films, and then you claim to know exactly what’s in them. Based on what? Hearsay? I see different lifestyles being included in Disney’s storytelling as way of representing what actually exists in the world, but that’s hardly the same as shoving it down throats. Give me an example of Disney pushing its ideology on children. I’m curious to know where you’ve seen this happen.

  26. Momo Redd

Magic Kingdom Orlando needs wishes back!
There’s nothing wrong with having it in both Orlando and California parks.

  27. R-Gii

Toy Story 5 makes sense now, 2019 was such a a success with the combined hits of Toy Story 4 and Frozen II, they are trying to force themselves to relive it all in 2026 with Toy Story 5 and Frozen III.

  28. Andy

My last money to go to Disney was 2007 on a trip to Disney World. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

But they ruined Star Wars. They ruined Hulu. They attacked Florida. I got a free Hulu trial to binge the 50 hours of content I like. I will not pay past the free trial. I implored Spectrum to drop all Disney channels from the basic tier everyone has to pay for. After 2025 Desantis will get Disney broken up. Put Iger in charge of the Disney Cruise line. Sell big chunks to Apple (ABC network and stations) Pay the NFL $5b to take ESPN. Keep the theme parks in a separate company, hopefully run by a Disney descendant. Put the movie properties in one block and sell it to the Chinese.
