It was 20th Century Fox that Disney acquires from Rupert Murdoch, not NBC Fox.

Disney can’t afford another Cheapskate – oops Chapek. Igor had his bite ofthe apple.Time to let the experts pick.

If Disney does not course correct in every aspect more and more people will abandon the brand. This would require a house cleaning top to bottom. Bob Iger did infinitely more damage than Chapek ever did or could have done. He is the destructor.

The new CEO will have a very difficult time fixing and bringing Disney back from the brink of death. Eisner and Iger have been draining Disney of talent (running off new comers that are not YES men or women) for 4 decades. Also, they have been riding on the proven success of Walt’s Archive and now have given it all away on Disney+ (PURE GREED–IGER/CHAPEK HAD BONUSES TIED DIRECTLY TO DISNEY+). Now, there is nothing left to resell. If you have noticed all they (NEW DISNEY) know how to do is sequels of past successes. Now they are doing it with Star Wars and Marvel. The board should do another team similar to Walt & Roy or Eisner & Wells. I think this is the only way they might have a chance to get it back again. It is very obvious that the current executives have NO understanding about how to pick or produce hit movies with efficiency. That is (has always been) the core of Disney…Movies! Then everything flows from there. They bought Fox ($70+ billion) and just ripped it apart & left it for dead. What was that about? (IT WAS EGO!, THEN THE BOARD JUST LET IGER WALK AWAY). If they stop running off creative talent and start rebuilding the talent team with good leadership, then maybe they can start producing good content again. Also, the right person or persons would have to clean (executives) house & start from scratch. All of this happening in the current environment at Disney, it is not likely to ever happen. It might be better off to be sold to another company than see this once amazing, creative, magical company die like this.

You are right Kevinswms but we have to keep punching and get everyone who agrees do keep at it until Disney gets on the right path. We all have to save this beloved Company from itself to where WALT and everyone one who helped form Disney to where they would approve !!!
