The UK has terrible weather and if the point is to grab European visitors… With the new visitor’s permit scheme it’s an additional 15 dollars, as they are not in the EU. Really bad move
There is no “permit scheme” for EU visitors to visit the UK, Just UK residents visiting the EU, due to be implemented in October 2024.
Even if such a scheme was introduced $15 would’t even buy a burger, so is totally insignificant
It’s an interesting development and if it comes to fruition then we’d certainly look at going (cost permitting). However, it’s a bit strange to say Universal are doing this “reportedly before Disney”, given Disney already has Disneyland Paris in Europe and is unlikely to want to build another park that close…
