My family just finished a three-day trip to Disneyland and I’m in agreement that there is a definite caste system in place and it absolutely affected our enjoyment. I was especially irritated when we were in line to meet princesses with our 4-yr old at Royal Hall and watched a half dozen or more groups show up and skip the entire line, all orchestrated by Disney staff. I’ll bet it’s not fun to be a plaid vest person anymore. Rich people are becoming more demanding and exclusive.
VIP is expensive but the perks are LL for all rides and experiences
Disney is you get what you pay for
Rude behavior is wrong but paying to be in front is what they pay for
A lot of those “rich” people who are being put in places of preference are not the any richer than most of those who complain about it but are guests of the Make A Wish Foundation and it’s true that they paid for the preferential treatment but it is more than likely that one younger member of their party aren’t going to ever get another chance to experience the fun and feeling like a VIP true a lot of their group aren’t having any problems but would you begrudge a few family member or close friends of the chance to see the excitement on the face of someone who they know is only getting to be there because they are suffering from some kind of a life endangering physical disorder,?
My last experience at DL for my lost magic band was great. I went into the Emporium and asked if they’d seen it, and after telling them what it looked like, they brought it out and checked to make sure it was synced to my phone and flashed it before returning it to me, as they should have. I was very thankful for that!
My issue is with the Genie pass… I just came back from WDW and must say the wait was bad..( Even though it’s Christmas time).. but the line became bigger because of the Genie AKA the expensive fast passes… they would let five of us in on the regular line and thirty five to forty on the Genie side…. Needless to say …Our line was getting longer and longer and longer… It’s just not fair … we paid $$$ for the parks too!!! It’s the “ Have And Have Nots”.. .. They should rethink this option… I liked the fast pass system so much better.. everyone had a fair chance of getting on rides and shows..

Liberal company creating a “class/caste” system ??…….SAY IT ISN’T SO !!
Being a former Cast Member myself NONE of this surprises me at all. After parting ways with the company I haven’t been back and don’t plan on going back.
As with the rest of the world Disney is now a place where power/money talks. It always was – but its exponentially that way now – and wow look who’s in charge – entitled liberals (fascists) with money. The same ones who think you should own nothing and be happy (Klaus Schwab). You should live in your little “sector” while they fly all over the world devising how we all must save the planet. LOL. Gee Jess you should be thrilled about such a system since you are completely enamored with their philosophy! And if you think this is conspiracy theory – you are part of the problem

You were definitely in the wrong. There was no need for that level of language.
