Yeah, I’m responding to a months old post. But I wouldn’t mind a reboot/alternate telling, as long as they keep the politically correct agenda BS out in favor of telling a proper sci-fi story. I want to escape real-life for a few hours, not have it further shoved into my face, whether I’m for/against things.

I wouldn’t even care if Han is black, Leia is made a half-sister and Asian, Vader was literally a futuristic Japanese samurai with a lightsaber katana, Lando is Samuel L Jackson, or if Star Wars goes back to its concept roots where Luke’s character was originally a female tomboy and Yoda is now a sci-fi dwarf played by Peter Dinklage. Heck, if it goes alternate history following some of the established Legends lore, maybe Mara Jade is Markus Jade, and FemLuke turns him good and they jointly restart the Jedi Order alongside their children.

Just keep real-life socio-political and correctness drama out and give me a great story. It’s all I want, which is a rarity in the current climate.
