Bad media attention is still attention, so she will remain in the public consciousness for any number of reasons, not the least of which is that her latest movie is getting respectable reviews and she has several projects lined up going forward, so she’ll be just fine. I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve seen her in, so far, notwithstanding that questionable Shazam sequel.

Keep speaking your truth, girl! The right side of history has your back!

I’ve got an open message for her too. She should get over herself.

Since when does a movie, that will be lucky to break even, get called a success? 98.5 million on the opening weekend still leaves another 100 million to hit the magic number. You have to split the box office grosses with the theaters and the longer it stays in the theaters the more the split turns in favor of the theaters.
This movie didn’t even break 45 million from the domestic box office, less than half of any previous Hunger Games installment. While it does have a lower production budget, 100 million, it still will have to more than double it’s opening weekend to show a profit. As more movies are released the competition will make that unlikely.
You gush about Rachel Zegler, and even mentioned “West Side Story” which was also a financial failure. How about “Shazam, Fury of the Gods” no, better not mention that either. Disney has had to push the release back in hopes that they can do damage control on her runaway mouth and savage reports on the movie.
So far she hasn’t had a money making movie and is turning into box office poison. Why would you twist yourself into knots to schill for this person? Maybe she can turn her career around but she will need a much better team and learn how to speak to the press.

I think the message from the Disney fans is way more than what the “message” from Zegler is. I’ve never seen the hunger game movies, never had a desire to see them. The fact of the matter is that Zegler with her comments has really ticked off many fans, unnecessary changes to a beloved story, the one that Started it All for Disney, has also done damage. If the company decides to make changes, brings back the Seven Dwarfs, and makes other changes to keep the story close to the animated Classic, that may well draw in crowds, but I don’t see that happening. Disney is way too involved in playing politics, and they shouldn’t be doing that. Walt did not want the company involved openly in politics. It’s very bad for a family business to do that. So again what the open message is from the fans, is what carries weight here, not what some movie is doing at the box office, because disney has been failing at the box office all year, the put out these movies, and once they’re labeled as “box office bombs” they are pulled from theaters all together or they lose screen time. I had wanted to see Dial of Destiny while that was in theaters, and my local theater was only showing it at 5pm or later, I am not going to go to a theater, and try to get home after dark. Not in my neighborhood. Disney should be putting exclusives from disney+ on home media, they can make money that way.

Imagine how well this new Hunger Games would do if Ziegler came out and said ” I think that Katniss was an A.H. and should have been off-ed in the first series and Peeta could easily have been written out as their roles are too old-fashioned. Mine is the first good female character in The Hunger Games Franchise” would her her movie be doing well?

Wow, they’re still letting that waste of brain cells speak in public?

If they are going to leave out major characters, then it should have another name. So what if it’s not 1937. That has nothing to do with it. Walt Disney is probably turning over about what has happened to his legacy. There are more loyal fans for Disney than there are for her

Now that the CEO of Disney has been fired, there might be more changes going forward. Disney’s numbers have been taking a huge hit. Go back to what made their brand and audience.

Why is this movie called Snow White?
