  1. How and why would you want to replace a beloved Carter like Mickey Mouse I grew up watching Mickey Mouse and all his friends why change a good thing now when he’s the most beloved mouse in the world that why mr Disney created Mickey Mouse and all his friends don’t get rid of Aggie thing and try to replace it 😞😞😞my children grew up on Mickey Mouse too

    1. I’m disgusted by this change! The character that we all known and love, the one we recognize and associate with Disney.
I’ve seen some new programs and I think it’s awful. He’s not cute, he looks almost mean and the shows feel violent. I’m sad and disgusted. The Disney Walt created is being destroyed. Heartbreaking 💔

Wait would be turning over in his grave. It is disgusting what they have done to his legacy. Shame on all of them!!!!

        1. Janet S

They’re not replacing! They’re just doing what they are forced to do for to copyright law.

    2. Jackson

I think Disney might replace mickey mouse with Oswald the rabbit I doubt it might happen

    3. Janet S

They’re not replacing the character. They have to change the animation style periodically to extend copyrights. This false narrative is simply written to confuse people into being angry.

  2. Gary

Another screw up by Disney there is only one Mickey Mouse and the same goes that there is only one Minnie Mouse so Disney do not do it again KEEP THE ORIGINALS COPY THAT !!

    1. Denise

That’s the point. They can’t keep the originals. Copyright only lasts so long. The far right gripes when Disney tries to extend its copyright. Now they gripe when they change the animation style like the far right forced them to do.

Please pick a side and then we can all carry on.

At the age of 38 I’m still an fan of mickey and the gang. I DO NOT LIKE THIS AT ALL. Changes aren’t always good.

    1. Janet S

      Blame copyright law for it!

  4. CJA

C’mon, folks – they’re still cute! Don’t be such Crabapple Annies.

  5. John Matthew

Retiring Mickey Mouse is nothing but a fake!

  6. Please keep the original Mickey Mouse I grew up on Mickey and his friends.

  7. Michael

Mickey Mouse is Disney. No Mickey no Disney or Disneyland. I’m almost 70 now, been to Disneyland many times. My high School Graduation, the 25th, 30th, 40th, 50th Anniversary. I have shared Disney with my daughter since she was born. But now, with the liberal woke movement, Disney is dead. You’ve ruined Disney. Sure wish Walt was around.

Please pick a side and then we can all carry on. It’s not the liberals destroying the magic… It’s the conservatives that want to destroy capitalism in our great country.

      1. Jan K.

Denise sweetie you are a bit confused! Liberals are destroying the magic and wanting to go with Communism and the right want to keep Capitalism! Mickey has been around for 100 years and has changed in little bits every so often, but the new characters all look anger and mean not welcoming and happy!

        1. Denise

Jan, honey, I think you missed something.

The right blocked copyright extensions and forced this change in animation style. The right destroyed what Walt created that helped both Disney and Florida, and took over a company’s property like a dictator. That’s not capitalism, that’s communism.

If you want to think it’s the mean old Liberals that are destroying things you’re sadly mistaken.

I truly hope you’re not one of the thousands of innocent Florida citizens who are being punished simply to support a presidential bid.

      2. RickTR

Disney has already extended their copyrights way beyond what anyone else is able to do. The copyright laws went into effect in 1790. The right has nothing to do with it. Get your facts straight.

        1. Denise

That’s… The point, Rick. Disney successfully extended their copyrights, supporting capitalism and the ability for a historic company to continue. The most recent attempts to extend the copyright were blocked… You guessed it… By the Right!

  8. Janet S

    Agreed!

  9. Deb

Cheese people it’s just a pretend mouse ,there’s worse things in life than a mouse changing

  10. nelson jameson
