Its called LISTENING TO YOUR AUDIENCE IF YOU WANT MONEY

    1. Chris

It’s simply a poorly made series. Poor quality CGI, poorly developed story line and has nothing to do with woke or not woke. There’s a lot more interesting characters Marvel has to offer.

    2. John

I liked it I would watch more I like all the Marvel stuff out there they need to stop taking things off all of it should be on Disney

      1. Todd R Hudson

All of it is on disney

      2. Newhouse75

I liked She-Hulk. I think I was excellent and I do not just give Disney, a free pass. Willow was terrible and deserved to be cancelled.

        1. Frank Burton

You gotta give it a chance you just came out with She Hulk. You can do so much more in season 2. Besides, you just introduced Skaar, Hulk fans would be overjoyed to see all 3 Hulks in a movie together ❤️!

          1. Johnf

            Skaar is awful.

    3. KB2

That’s actually not true at all. She-Hulk is a Disney Plus show meaning whether you watch it or not it’s going to get the same amount of money for Disney because it’s based on the amount of subscribers they have each month. No one can watch the show and it will still make the same amount of money as it would if every single subscriber watched it

      1. Kevin

I liked it and it should not be pulled. People have nothing better to do than complain about everything so Feige should not let the naysayers contoll what happens with MARVEL.

        1. James

Good for you but personally I felt the show in general was not only malnourished in key areas (the script, writing and effects for one) but it felt like it was assembled without a plan.

          1. Daniel

I would disagree there. It followed most of the elements of the comics written by John Byrne, which, is an acquired taste in my opinion. Not returning should translate to the screen. Like the end season r th wall braking conclusion. That should have been vetoed by Feige while in development, or at least moved to the middle of the season and used as a forced course correction to end the series like a traditional MCU action/comedy.

        2. BoboBA69

How old are you?you have no idea what you speak of

      2. Warren

It’s not just number of subscribers. To justify a shows existence and the money it takes to produce it, it needs a certain percentage of the subscriber base to watch it in order to justify continuing to make it. Look on it another way the production budget for making original content is limited and if you have ten shows that share that budget you’ll direct money to the shows that bring in the most viewers every month. Why do you think HBO puts so much resources into GOT and its spinoffs? Because that’s what a significant number of its subscriber base want to see. Disney needs to produce shows that get views otherwise they might as well just burn the money.

  2. Propaganda

    All I see is propaganda.

    1. Djmonster

      I’d watch another season

      1. Daniel

Ditto. It needs to be toned down a little, not everything translates to television well from the comics

    2. Over it

Exactly , these pro disney writers who are part of the problem . Maybe just maybe we don’t want our daughters looking up to trash tile models like cardi hooker and Meg the pony .. having a she hulk twerk was the end right there trying so hard to sexualize kids

      1. Johnf

The tweaking scene was beyond awful. They should left casual sex out of this show altogether.

        1. Jay

Twerking isn’t casual sex…stawp grasping at straws

          1. Erik

I think the previous post was referring to Jen’s one night stand with Matt Murdock.

      2. Matt W

Just because you won’t let your daughter watch it does not mean other people won’t let their daughters watch it.

        1. KB2

Dude thanks She-Hulk having a twerking scene was the breaking point as if girls these days don’t already know what twerking is

        2. Cristy B

I enjoyed the show and was looking forward to S2. I thought it was simply funny and an easy watch. TV shows are always worse both in scipt & visuals than movies. If it’sin the MCU I’ve seen it, and whie I haven’t loved every second of every show, I still enjoyed them. The new MCU shows are the only reason I pay to have Disney! This 52 year old female wil always want more MCU.

And to those typing about not allowing their daughters to watch – NO children should be watching anything MCU anyway. It is basically all violence & profanity. Just because they promote it towards kids doesn’t mean you as the parent let your kid(s) watch.

      3. KB2

Iff cardi B had nothing to do with the show and make the stallion was only in it for the last couple of minutes. And if you think that was your daughter’s first introduction to her or to twerking in general you need to wake up and be more alert as a parent.

      4. Not everything is meant for your kids

She Hulk is not meant for children.

Also if your kids are looking up to fictional characters as role models, then you need to parent better.

    3. Brian

1st of all. The Show is not Anti whatever. 2nd. ITS MEGAN THEE STALLION THEY SAID HER NAME IN THE SHOW LIKE 15 TIMES. SO GET YOUR RAPPERS & MUSIC ARTISTS CORRECT. & Finally The CGI is as good as it gets. I don’t see anyone else making this any better. Not that they could anyway with the money they make in a year. Anyway I would definitely watch a 2nd season

      1. Jesse

The CGI from Narnia, a movie from over 15 years ago, was better than what was in She Hulk. The CGI in Wanda Vision, another Marvel show, was better. The CGI in She Hulk was atrocious. Period.

      2. Jay

        Lmfao they said Cardi B

      3. Tony S.

Well it’s cancelled for a reason. You’re clearly not among the majority.

  3. Lee

Disney reported to its share holders that they said to connect to it’s core audience…
    Woke is not making money.

    1. KB2

What is black people being aware of politics have to do with the show?

  4. Benny

I liked She-Hulk. The problem was not enough episodes to really allow the characters to grow. Also the comedy, it was “Ally McBeal” on steroids.
I’d like to see more action, like her getting a phone call for help while she’s giving her closing arguments.
Plus, sexy She-Hulk in a bikini trying to find love.

  5. Charles

It was Megan the Stallion, not Cardi B

    1. John Strika

Nobody cares. Neither one belongs in a Marvel series or movie

      1. Robert

Comics are pop culture. Cardi and stallion are successful women. No different than Kevin bacon showing up in guardians.

      2. Jim

Using anti-woke is an excuse. You can’t get mad at the audience for not liking the product. Maybe…….make a better product.

The series had some great stuff, but at the end of the day it wasn’t enjoyable. The story wasn’t, IMHO, good & seemed like there was no real direction.

  6. Jeff

I personally liked the series. But it is all about the almighty dollar… just look at this webpage, could there be any more crap advertising and pop-ups?!! I made a coffee this morning, and I am sure that offended someone. Frigging snowflakes, get over yourselves.

    1. As I read your comment I am sitting here drinking a cup of coffee myself LOL comedic timing is everything. And if they get offended, I got two words for them LOL

  7. Joe

Anti-woke trolls? How about just calling a crap show crap?

    1. Jeff

By the way, what made She Hulk “woke”? Was it because She Hulk is a female hero (aka heroine)? Should little girls not have a hero, more like themselves, to look up to?

      1. Gunnerb52

Tell us you know nothing about comics. She hulk was popular in comics. What the show was is not the comics. And little girls need to see tweaking? And wonder woman did well. Black Widow was ok and more possible.

        1. Greg

Are you serious? That shit was straight out of the comics. John Byrne She-Hulk.

          1. Neocon Biden robbed Bernie

The comics did not have twerking, bad humor and dollar store rappers who admit to drugging men and robbing them.

“Little girls” deserve a good influence with morals, not degenerate strippers who pretend to be rappers.

      2. Bob

She- Hulk should fighting real bad villains, not the patriarchy, not presenting a radical feminist agenda. People watch shows for action, not preaching . Contrast that with the Avengers. Thanos was the bad guy and they both males and females were fighting him…no side issues going on. Make a superhero show, not a statement using superheroes. The Alien movie had Ripley and she didn’t gripe about BS, just fight an alien or 2. How hard is this?

        1. Turtlestyle

Couldn’t have said it better myself. They need to make movies again and stop using them to try and push their agenda. Crazy how some people are so oblivious to this.

        2. Joe

People watch shows to be entertained. They’re free to watch something else is they’re not. It’s not that difficult. I’m not sure who’s worse these days cancel culture or anti woke crybabies who don’t realize it’s as simple as watching something else if their delicate sensibilities are offended.

          1. Josh

You know they are watching other shows. That’s why this crap fest show was cancelled. No one was watching it.

          2. Brian

People are watching something else thats why this is cancelled, only woke freaks watched it and sadly they think they are a majority when they are the 5%. Thats why the show is toast only weird, creepy, people were into it.

      3. Over it

Little girls looking up to twerking dummies this was trash from the start

      4. J

Yeah, to a lot of people “woke” means anything other than straight white men. It’s sad.

        1. Josh

No it doesn’t. It doesn’t mean that to anyone.

    2. Bennett Lavorino

Anti -Woke Trolls? We weren’t the ones upset with a picture on a Syrup Bottle.

  8. SheHulk

I really liked the series. The real problem with She-Hulk, Moon Knight and Secret Wars was they were too short. The obsession with having everything connect
and fit within a movie release schedule compromised real story telling. The other big problem is Disney has owned Fox since 2019 and there’s been nothing. At this point, I don’t think they know how to handle all of the characters.

  9. Kharn the Betrayer

As a gamer and sci-fi fan I’m used to this level of gaslighting.

  10. MafiaColors

Series was just okay. Could have been so much better for the $$$ it cost to make it. She-Hulk is a good replacement for an aging Mark Ruffalo/Hulk, but she may never see the light of day now due to this. It’s too bad because I am losing interest in the MCU by the minute. I have zero interest in the next Avengers lineup if it’s all B-List heroes, especially without She-Hulk.

    1. John Strika

Um She Hulk IS a B list hero

  11. Jeff

I watch TV and movies to be entertained and/or educated. During that time I am NOT thinking about how tough things are or the problems I have to manage and resolve. I found She Hulk entertaining. I guess, if I had nothing substantial going on in my life, I could sit back and pick apart every inconsequential thing that took place on my TV screen. 🤷
I spend my days trying to make my little piece of the world a better place, why do others feel they have to do the opposite?

    1. Josh

So no one but you can have an opinion. Got it

  12. Darlene

….this show did not AT ALL reflect the comic book which was NEVER woke (until recently)…..

hence the reason the ratings were SOOOOOO poor!
If there are so many wokies out there-How come they NEVER show up to support woke content? Whether in movies or streamed shows?

Say it with me-GET WOKE-GO BROKE!!

    1. Greg

That series was John Byrne She Hulk my guy.

  13. Make Disney Great Again

    1. Johnf

Disney was never great. The mcu was once great before Disney started meddling with it.

  14. LoneWolf

I’m anti-wole. But that’s not why I didn’t like She-Hulk. I liked the character in the comics. But the problem was always the quality of this series. Compare it to Wanda vision and Falcon and the Winter Soldier and you can tell they tried to do She-Hulk on the cheap.

Throw in Mark Ruffalo , who is an awful actor, and this series never had a chance. M-She-U aside.

    1. Alan Stevens

Mark Ruffalo is a great actor in my opinion.

      1. Brian

No, no hes not, you just like him cause hes a creepy woketard.

  15. Joe blow

Don’t blame anti-woke. It was a crap show and didn’t deserve a second season. Just like the marvels was a terrible movie. Thank the lord we have Deadpool!

    1. Johnf

What if the Marvels characters show up in deadpool? This is now a real possibility.

  16. Scott

She hulk comics were always tongue in cheek and meant to be funny.

I rolled my eyes at some of the wokeness that was slipped in, bit I appreciated that the MCU was willing to introduce a series with more of a comedic focus and not just world-saving adventure.

I’m saddened that She Hulk season 2 won’t be happening.

  17. Eric L Erickson

    Anti-woke trolls? Anti-woke mob?
Why are the “Anti-Woke” being denigrated as “Trolls” & a “Mob”? What about the “WOKE” that are pushing their leftist BS on everybody — those are the REAL “Trolls & Mob”!!!

    1. Joe

Why not both? Both need to go outside and touch some grass and stop crying about everything on television.

  18. Rob Rober

Maybe it’s just people who want good content. I didn’t see the Woke Mob rushing to support these shows/movies. Had they done so Disney would not be changing course back to support the people who actually make them money.

I’m so over this anyone who doesn’t follow my way of thinking is a bad person mentality. Get over yourself, because society has clearly spoken and we’re not going to be bullied and scared to speak up any longer.

So bring the shame and scream the cancel narrative and toxic chants. At the end of thr day our values matter too and we actually spend money.

    1. Dave

I’m disappointed. I enjoyed this series. It had a fun vibe, with good MCU action.
I was unaware that it was my responsibility to advocate for the show on social media to refute anti-woke (pro-sleep?) advocates’ claims. They have the right to express their (narrow-minded) opinions without my validation.

      1. Chris

Actually she hulk is an awesome character. The show did not represent her as she was in the comics. She is funny, with, does break the 4th wall but something was off.

      2. Johnf

I liked the she hulk show a lot, but I can clearly see all the problems that got it canceled, like twearking, casual sex, jen complaining how she’s had it harder than Bruce when he had to spend years of his life on the run and had to live with destroying part of a city, all so the writers could espouse their feminist views.

  19. Mike

I would appreciate another season she hulk was a good distraction from regular marvel

  20. Over it

Stop forcing the gay , stop sexualizing our kids , stop masquerading as a family company and being sinister with this junk adult content aimed at kids . The adults with actual children have spoken and we hate this crap and we spoke with our money . It’s not anti wile we are anti groomer

    1. Darrin Eigenbauer

I absolutely loved the She-Hulk series. I loved how she would went beyond the 4th wall and talked to the audience at times. Especially the last episode, where she came out of the show and entered in our reality..was freakin awesome and funny. I never read the comics, but I heard it that scene was just like the comics. I definitely want a 2nd season. I want to see more of Tatiana Maslany as She-Hulk.

    2. GloriaZ

Right the show was honestly hilarious and I loved the characters and cameos but miserable a$$ people have to ruin everything just because it’s not for them.

      1. Cristy B

        Tru dat!!!

  21. Gary

I read complex as a kid and I’ve seen marvel make some good movies some of the things deviated from the comics but they did a really good job and in some cases made it better but at one point the agenda became so overpowering that to me the movies are just unwatchable they’re flat out terrible. They took comic book stories that have been around since the 1940s and they stamped an agenda on it so overwhelming ruined all the stories.

    1. Gary

That meant to read I read comics as a kid

  22. GW

Averyl is a terrible journalist. You had 1 job to do and that was watch what you are writting about and clearly you did not.

  23. Tggh

No it didn’t. It surrendered to the audience because its shit

  24. David

They don’t need to get rid of the She Hulk character, or even the actress. Just fix the series. Hire a good director, reshoot, fix the CGI, scrap the ending, and oh yeah add a plot.

  25. Chris

You know. Good writing. Something something something. Good writing. She hulk is an awesome character and the series made her a joke.

  26. Kevin

It is proof that Disney can destroy a good character by making it woke. Try making entertaining movies and series instead of some idiotic message.

  27. Jma

Watched a bit of the show, never got into it. The same goes for the recent movies that came out, which bombed. Pretty sure the new Disney movies from Lil mermaid, you can’t change character and add more women just to satisfy the gender neutral crowd andbthen don’t expect to lose money, and call it fatigue. Glad it got cancelled.

  28. Manda

I LOVED She-Hulk!! I thought it was great. Either way, people are ALWAYS gunna have their opinions on shows/movies. Does that mean they should sit on a shelf, collecting dust?? Just because some people didn’t like it?!?! That’s COMPLETELY absurd!! If you don’t like it, …JUST. DON’T. WATCH. IT. Instead, they piss off the fans of the show, remove it from the entire MCU, AND scrap season 2?!?! Simply because some folks …just didn’t like it?! The stupidity of that just astounds me. When the hell have Marvel, OR Disney, for that matter, *EVER* caved to the ignorance of internet trolls?! This just doesn’t make sense to me…

  29. Ww

She-hulk was terrible. Why the comedic tone which is the same for the Hulk in the marvel movies. We want the tone to be more serious ala Captain America and Black Panther. Thor has become an idiot too.

  30. Vanyel

I would love to watch S2 of SHE Hulk the first season is always a bit rough, but would love to see what they could do with a second season.

  31. Seth

It’s not about woke, it is about lazy writing that relies on the trope diverse, female, superhero as the a Mary Sue girl boss. There’s no real character development, struggles to adapt, learn and grow within her power. Instead she was already a girl boss who inherited powers from Bruce and she does it better than him from the hop. Add in all the swipes at “toxic masculine fanboys” and you get garbage. CGI was lackluster, writing was abysmal, and frankly it is not superhero fatigue most of us are tired of men being made to look stupid and inferior to the female counterparts.

  32. Mike

Saying the reason it got dropped was because of anti-woke trolls is the reason normal people no longer trust the media. If a white male led show does bad it’s because of bad script, poor cgi, etc. if a minority or female led show is bad it’s because of sexism, anti-woke or racism. Grow up, that show was B.A.D. Comically, snowflakes can’t stand it when a fact like that smacks them right in the face, lol!

  33. Anthony

She was twerking with Meg Thee Stallion not Cardi B. The show was ok but it was trying to be something that it’s not. It’s not a dramedy but it was trying to be Ally McBeal. Hence the twerking and her dating woes. It’s a superhero show and should have focused on that. There was tons of potential. Revamp and bring it back as a serious show.

  34. wmb

Why does the inclusion of more and different voices have to be a thing? Who likes to by stereotyped, or put in a box, when we are all individuals? So a car manufacturer builds a car that would appeal more to woman, does that they are ‘woke’? Or, why does a woman have like a vehicle, designed by man, looks overwhelmingly brutish and manly? Why can’t she have a choice? The question should only be, is it good! AND, just because we don’t like it, doesn’t mean that it’s not. If we do not like it, thankful we have the ability to choose to do so or not! I liked the series over all, but there were this I felt they could have done better. IMHO, MCU/Disney would have been better to fix/correct the problems and make the show better, then to cancel it all together. Yet, again, that was their choice, if they choose to do so!

  35. Cameron

I really enjoyed she-hulk. Funny, nice change of pace from usual would definitely watch season 2

  36. The truth

Had no desire to watch it and for good reason, because I believe what I’m hearing. Disney has superhero women twerking and pushing feminist agendas? How is this related to the source material? Stan Lee would be rolling in his grave if he saw this nonsense. But Disney is a “woke” entity putting out specific material to cater to this new agendas. They deserve to lose money for stunts like this.

  37. Mike Rhoads

what does the show’s quality have to do with going ‘anti-woke’?? if it’s good, I’ll watch it…if not, I won’t watch it. Simple. The politics and who’s on this side or that doesn’t mean anything for most fans. Live and let live…

  38. Eric

It is not anti-woke to call a show bad just because the lead is a female or more precisely, not a white male. She Hulk is horrible. The character itself isn’t bad. What’s bad is the writing and for 25 million per episode the special effects should be a lot better.
It is obvious where the writer of this article leans. This show is terrible but instead of stating the obvious prefers the blame game and points fingers at a group.

  39. Kelly

I am “anti-woke”, because I see their hypocrisy – they pretend to be better and more evolved than others, but really they’re just trying to virtue-signal while disguising their hatred and evil behavior as crusading for justice.
… but I enjoyed She-Hulk, and didn’t see it as overly woke – and I will be very disappointed if we don’t get another season!

  40. Keri

No, Disney didn’t give into some mob. Having a difference of opinion doesn’t make you a troll. The show did horrible and should be shelved. Simple as that.

  41. Saiber

Something is wrong when nobody warches your products, almost every movie in 22/23 flopped and you lost over USD 1 Billion within a year.

  42. White males all in their feelings. These male comic book heroes make the snowflakes feel good about themselves.

  43. Blyss

She was actually twerking with meg the stallion. Research your topic before you discuss. All black people are not the same person.

  44. Manny

All these anti woke people are hilarious 😂

  45. she/hulk was an attempt to appease someone related to the gravy train. It was never going to be successful. Everyone involved in the making of this dud, knew doom was the destination. Hopefully all the favors were called in and the next project can make a splash.

  46. Kosh

I thoughtthat the series had potential. The parody of the 1970’s Incredible Hulk series in the She Hulk season finale was brilliant. If season 2 had that level of inspiration, it could have been great. Let’s hope the fans can change Marvel’s mind.

  47. Andrew Marshall

MCU + DISNEY = CERTAIN DEATH FOR OUR BELOVED COMIC BOOK CHARACTERS

  48. Supercartoondad

We loved it…my other half she never missed a show. I hope they keep it going . Everything can’t be capt America…Batman Blade 2 style stuff. Sometimes you just want to laugh…and it isn’t cardi b. She was hilariously twerking with it was Megan the stallion. We were raised on Xena Hercules..etc…She hulk was fun.

  49. Daniel Matthews

I enjoyed She-Hulk and the cast! It was good to inject humor! They could have become more serious in the next season! It will be sad not to have a 2nd season!

  50. CTR

That’s Megan the Stallion, not Cardi B. Not all black people look tge same. You obviously are out of touch. Maybe you should get “woke” and understand the current world around you. Lol

  51. Chris

In all honesty I didn’t mind She-Hulk. But then again it was after I consumed a bottle of wine LOL But in all seriousness they really screwed the pooch on this series. The Jennifer Walters in the animated series of Hulk and The Agents Of SMASH is way better! Seriously, hire Eliza Dushku. Oh Kevin Feige, you better course-correct soon buddy. The MCU is in big doodoo this time!

  52. Leo Chirinian

I really Loved watching She Hulk. And I would Love for MCU to bring her back, she has so much potential as say a leader of a new Avengers…BRING. SHE HULK BACK STAT!!!!

  53. jon

I avoid the woke yoke as much as anyone, and I despise acts of conspicuous inclusion. That said, I really like She Hulk. It was fun and pertinent to its universe. It made solid statements about equity and tolerance, eschewing the codependency of the status quo. The people who bash the cgi and levity of the series are the same people who went crazy for after- school viewings of the Power Rangers 20 years ago. I was really looking forward to more She Hulk and more Datedevil.

  54. Bob Hudspeth Jr.

Perhaps I should be embarrassed to say so, but I really enjoyed season 1 of She-Hulk. I initially rolled my eyes at the very notion that they were going to MAKE a She-Hulk series, but I changed my mind after seeing the first trailer for it. I thought the show was fun and didn’t take itself too seriously, which I think Marvel is guilty of doing a lot. I also liked the actress who played the title role. Tatiana Maslany was really really good in it. I was looking forward to it coming back. I don’t watch a ton of Marvel stuff, and NOW it looks like I won’t be seeing this either. Oh well, I guess making me happy isn’t on their agenda.

  55. Barry

I loved the MCU at one time. I’m tired of it now. Several of the recent movies are just poorly written. I’m also tired of people criticizing everything based on whether they consider it ‘woke’ or ‘anti-woke’. Who cares? Just tell good stories and make good movies.

  56. D. Johnson

1st thing…I enjoyed it, my wife enjoyed it, everything isn’t for everyone. So if you don’t like something…change the channel!!! I’m not a fan of certain things, so I don’t give it my time. These are working actors, studio personnel, digital creators, so stop taking food out of people’s mouths.

    1. Matt W

I agree with you, if you don’t like something don’t watch it.

  57. Who cares

Who’s cares, Marvel is dead, just like their fan boys I.Q levels.

  58. Matt W

I’m sad that She-hulk is cancelled. I liked the show and would watch more seasons. Of course I know that Disney and studies in general look at multiple things like coat and viewership when deciding to renew or cancel a show.

  59. Grumar

Why is it considered anti-woke to demand quality story telling?

  60. Matt W

It seems to me that no matter what direction Disney takes Marvel there will always be people who will like it and people who will hate it. Make what movies and shows you want to make and let whoever wants to watch it.
To the haters. Just because you hate it does not mean you half to watch it.
It’s not just Marvel. It’s Star Wars, Pixar and classic Disney. Not just Disney but every studio.

    1. JohnF

Well, Disney cancelled it because the reception was so poor, soooo maybe they should not have made the TV show they wanted to make if they actually had preferred to make money. Just a few common sense tweaks on this show would have made it a huge success.

  61. Dana

Such an uneducated comment to automatically say people don’t like female superheroes, everyone does, but nobody likes poorly written shows.

  62. Annie mouse

Good for Disney + canceling She hulk!! Ughhh…they could have gotten a better actress, the story line could have been way better!! Read the comics before making a TV show or movie instead of f’ing up the plot of the story!!!!!!!!

  63. Aqua

Marvel and Disney, it’s simple, you want to make lots of money? Forget Woke. The majority across the globe are not woke. It IS that simple.

  64. Rishi rich

Shehulk was not a TV series it was propaganda. Disney and the author of this report should understand that no one appreciates lecture when they want to be entertained. They know it quite well that the outage was not because it was a female led movie it was misandry and insufferable.

  65. Big

    1. I liked the show and would watch another season.

    2. Who edited this? Who thinks Megan Thee Stallion was Cardi B.

  66. Aushwol

Fantasy and super hero shows/movies should be written by people that actually like comics/fantasy and not by activist. I watch these shows to escape the real world, not to have it jammed down my throat.

  67. Anna

My husband and I both liked She-Hulk, and we watched it again with friends. I’d love a Season 2, personally. Especially if they learned from mistakes in Season 1 and made this one better.

  68. Nick Henry

    This BS.
She-Hulk was fun, original, and had me cracking up.
By far the best of the Marvel streaming shows… except maybe Wanda-Vision…

  69. I am nauseated by WOKE COMMUNIST nonsense and have completely given up on Disney, Marvel, and Lucasfilm. If you support Disney you support Cultural Marxism and the grooming, recruitment
and victimization of defenseless children. Disney is Anti-American, Disney is EVIL.

  70. Daniel

Lol it’s not anti-woke anything, it’s anti crap films and TV series, we had a standard set with the original MCU phase 1 and we expect it to stay that way. If by anti-woke you mean people have an issue with female lead casts I’ll remind you of Dr Strange madness of the multiverse. Absolute trash.

  71. Dc zen

Seriously..it’s not an anti woke mob please , it’s knowing who your audience is …marketing 101 ..you don’t sell condoms to kids ..get it ???lol geez

  72. Mellissalynn Andromeda

As of this literal moment, I’m watching this show on Disney+ right now. Doesn’t look like it’s gone anywhere, nor is there any indication it’s going to…

  73. Jeff

This exactly why I hate the bros here. This show was funny, thoughtful and thankfully woman centric. You backwards Neanderthals didn’t like it because she didn’t grab her balks enough? You are why people hate men. I am so sorry this isn’t coming back. Lots of great funny talent. So sorry it’s gone. The best part of the MCU

  74. Julie

She Hulk is originally a Marvel comic with lots of action, characters and storylines. This new She Hulk is NOWHERE NEAR to the She Hulk and storyline OG knows. I was extremely disappointed with this poorly created movie. Marvel, Disney, or whatever network, FIX IT… We know who She Hulk is so DO NOT try to changing her unless is to create a massive Marvel movie or series. What? Your production team lost brain cells during the pandemic lockdown? It sure looks that way. Now BRING SHE HULK BACK HOW SHE SHOULD BE.

  75. satchmo28

The problem is not that “strong female” characters are being presented in these shows and movies. The problem is poorly written stories. This narrative of an “anti-woke mob” is a lazy and uninformed, false narrative. There are many examples of well-written, popular movies and television shows that lead with women characters. The difference with what Marvel has been doing is that their attempts to lead with female characters has been poorly executed. Ripley (Alien), Sarah Connors (Terminator) are great examples of well-developed, popular female lead characters. The Expanse is a great example of a television show that presented a number of excellently developed (figuratively and literally strong) female characters. This show did not catch on initially, but the strength of the storytelling and character development enabled this show to hang on and become a great success.

Female leads are not the problem. The priority of putting a undeveloped character narrative ahead of developing the characters and story is the problem. It’s hard enough to hit the goal of good character and story development when it is your primary goal, When it is not the primary goal you are doomed to fail. That is what has been happening to Marvel.

  76. Brandon

That’s definitely Megan the Stallion not Cardi B💀💀💀

  77. Robert

I liked She-hulk… the comic book character, and Tatiana Maslany the actress. Hated the show with a passion. What does that say??

  78. Lauren B

I read and I don’t think its got anything to do with woke or anti-woke. If it was just She Hulk, maybe. Its all got to do with the fact that Disney keep pushing out films and tv series that are already done. Disney not “getting” that they need to start coming up with something actually original.
I really enjoyed She-Hulk. If you have a problem with her twerking, but not what Lauren Boebert did in front of children in public. Then your problem is not She-Hulk twerking.

    1. J

Agreed there is definitely worse things then she hulk on twerk in fact it’s part of the comedic effect I love about the show.

  79. Zegram

That’s a shame, it’s unique and was one of the best of the tv shows by a wide margin, it’s dissapointing to see Disney fold to criticism from some of the worst people in the space.

  80. J

I loved it I thought she hulk was fun and funny. I loved the looseness and playfulness of the whole series. I Def can’t stand the new changes to mcu though disney is really putzing things up with the live action movies too. The mcu is losing too many iconic figures who are now moving to DC which will result in a huge cross over if they don’t get this act together. I don’t think superhero fatigue is a worry real comic fans are always going to pull up but too much changes and stepping what we love from the mcu for a Disney spin is soo not the way also keeping us waiting so long between seasons and starting seasons without adding seasons with just 6-8 episodes a season is really a drag. More episodes more seasons more faster. Without giving us enough meat how do you expect us to really dig in. And being flaky with the series make us not really commit cause they start and then quit. So stick with it we won’t go anywhere. Keep with the flakyness and being stingy with the episodes and lagging between seasons will definitely lose us nomatter how much Disney magic you try to use. Keep marvel marvel #stanleewouldnotapproveofyourmalarkey

I had high hopes for she-hulk. When it was announced I was stoked. I’m a big fan of her comic counterpart and was looking forward to it. Then the series came out and didn’t get past episode 2.

I don’t think it’s an “anti-woke” agenda or “superhero fatigue”. I believe it was in the execution. If you have a good story with good fleshed out characters people will watch. However when you try to shove a message down everyone’s throats “women are awesome and men are evil” then of course there will be push back. It was dubbed a legal comedy. Though there was some courtroom scenes it wasn’t engaging and it wasn’t funny. Least from what I seen.

However I think it does deserve a season 2 and see if it gets any better with a different creative team. Like u said above, I love the character and it opens the doors for more like red she hulk and others perhaps. But I feel if they do what they did in season 1 all over again (only seeing 2 episodes and reading plotting Wikipedia for the others) I think it’s best if they just don’t bother.

Just because people don’t love something doesn’t mean it’s anti woke. It’s just a crappy show. But it could be fixed.

My opinion. Take it for what it’s worth

  82. Lord Greybush

Easily one of the worst TV shows ever conceived. This is what happens when you have people who hate the source material and have perpetual victim mentality making movies/shows. Even though they’re among the most overtly pampered, privileged, lazy, entitled, boring, talentless, sheltered, unimaginative, and especially narcissistic social aretards who see an invisible boogeyman that doesn’t exist in every single room they enter.
Gere’s an idea. Get people who actually KNOW and ENJOY the source material write and cast these shows. Nobody, and I mean nobody gives the slightest of fcks about any of these irrelevant and manufactured 1st world issues that affect the lives of nobody whatsoever, so keep the slacktivism to yourself and on your Social Media profiles.

  83. Luis

They had a great idea to work with but instead, changed it all up for no good reason. Shows are like food, if it’s good, people will eat it up. So no, it wasn’t a surrender to an anti woke mob, it was horrible writing

  84. Des

    “anti woke mob”!!!
    What a hoot!.
It’s actually a lot more simple for any woke mentally disturbed lunatics out there, and here it is….
“Get woke, go broke”. Just like all the numerous woke failures.
