I think it’s good that they’re doing this. The cast members work hard and deserve recognition. I just hope that the little people get recognized too and it’s not just management.

Nope, it won’t affect us at all. Our family, and everyone we know and have spoken with really, have all sworn off the parks until and unless they FIX their inexcusable mess they’ve made of them. There are more problems than magic anymore. It’s not the fault of the hardworking CMs though. We’re looking at you, Admins!!!!

Can you elaborate? What inexcusable mess? Seems like the parks are having great attendance, making boatloads of money, and giving people a great experience. Seems to be a well run business by most definitions, and that’s what our country was founded on! Capitalism and freedom from government oppression. Unfortunately the far right wants us to lose both of those…

LOL, they aren’t making “boatloads of money.” Disney is barely turning a profit… Because of horrible management at the company, for the most recent quarter they made 21 BILLION in revenue…. With only 240 MILLION in actual profit. They are a company on the bubble of losses because of bad decisions with live TV (ESPN) and streaming (Disney +).

        1. Johnno

In the last two quarters Disney has had net profits of 1.4 billion and 1.17 billion. Why are you lying?

Sweetie I think you’re confused. I said nothing about the entire company. I said the PARKS are making boatloads of money.

Have you reviewed their earnings statements? Seems like Johno has, but apparently not you.

I guess you’re too far right to see reality anymore… Sad.

      Agreed

Stop promoting tabloid type news. There is nothing wrong with the Park early for this kind of celebration!

Why do you post this trash? Park hours are always posted ahead of time on the web site, mydisneyexperience, and on the guide maps. No one is being forced to leave early. They have the option to go on a different day. Its not Disneys fault that people fail tp plan ahead. The people that get upset over this are the same people that will harass cast members, push them, and demand they keep a ride open so they can ride it.

Cast members work hard every day to create the magic the we all enjoy. It’s just one great way for thanking them for the work they do. More big corporations should honor their employees like this. Their day of fun is more than deserved.

My daughter is part of the college program there and works many hours…. Busy but loves every moment of Disney!
