I completely agree! Downey Jr IS Iron Man. There can be no other. It was as if the character was written especially for him. Same can be said for all of the Avengers characters and the the other MCU characters/actors. Replacing them would definitely be the end. Without a doubt.
of course the 2012 avengers will come back. Eventually the timeline gets reset at some point and time where we will see Infinity War Saga part 2 and King Thanos.
