I will predict a Disney win in this litigation…at least at the trial of level. DeSantis pretty much owns the appellate courts having appointed sycophants to the highest court. But let’s hope the public relations disaster will destroy DeSantis’s political future. He’s a terrible person and an awful governor. Imagine in this day and age, a government official dictating what books we can and cannot read, what courses we can and cannot take and what discussions we can and cannot have in our schools. I also think that men ought not decide what women can and cannot do with their bodies. Especially when they fail to understand the consequences of their actions.
I was a fan when he left is open during covid. But now I see that he doesn’t do anything for us , he does for himself. I believe in less government and telling a business what they can believe is not less government.
Unfortunately many had high hopes that he would prioritize a free and open Florida where citizens could live, learn, play, and prosper. However he has quickly shown that he cares about none of those things and is willing to sacrifice Floridians for his own political aspirations.
Ron is a miserable person, a mediocre governor at best and seems, based on his decision making choices, to be unbalanced and dictatorial with a huge self-important ego. His political career seems to be coming to an end and quite frankly there shouldn’t actually have been a political career considering how dysfunctional his governing abilities are.
Considering that DeSantis has claimed that the removal of Reedy Creek was to level the playing field and then creating a Special District for Universal only proves retaliation. He has literally swung the balance in the opposite direction. He has completely forgotten what Disney means to the state of Florida and looks to be trying to soothe his injured pride.
I really think that “The House of Mouse” will stand tall. One man can not control everything…he is not God and should stop trying to make decisions he is not qualified to make.
