This temporary closure is for routine maintenance in Shanghai Disney.

Too bad it is closing because it was one of my favorites rides in Disneyland and Johnny Depp was found innocent.

I agree in this country you’re supposed to be innocent before found guilty and he was found innocent .wake up. You woke Disney

The news of thiscattraction closing is making me reconsider even visiting magic kingdom during our upcoming orlando vacation that will give us an extra day at Sea zworld or our resorts Waterpark. Thanks Iger for ruining a trip I’ve been waiting for ever since my stroke between closing my favorite ride getting rid of the1 thing I’ve always dreamed of buying a double mickey baloon and what you’ve done to the service for the disabledyou took my magic away

A long time ago I greatly enjoyed visiting Disney, Pirates of the Caribbean was a favorite, as I recall an E ticket ride. But sadly, Disney has gone down a dark path that I can not follow. I Marvel at how this could have happened, from being everything Disney was family friendly and enjoyable, to becoming something to be avoided in all aspects.

      “Dark path”??? LOL

Pirates is my favorite ride. I’m concerned so much will be closed that I will be disappointed along with my family and friends if we go. Jack Sparrow is a fantastic character and so is the ride.

Without Depp Disney doesn’t stand a chance making PC work

  8. Cynthia

Don’t do this! Been there several times. If you do stop #6 for others will boycott Disney. He was proved innocent !!! That AH was proved lying for his money.

There is no Pirates of the Caribbean without Jack Sparrow, there is no Jack Sparrow without Johnny Depp. Disney is done.

  10. I no longer support Disney. For what they have done to Johnny Depp. As far as I’m concerned Disney can go bankrupt

  11. Cdee

Well shoot!! Removing Jack Sparrow from Pirates is like removing the hamburger from a mickey dees burger!! Bye bye Disney!!

If Disney isn’t going to keep Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow then don’t bother making the movie! I took my son to every movie and even read him the children’s book about young Jack Sparrow. It’s heartbreaking to me that the audience and fans will miss out even though he was found not guilty. I’m thinking I might cancel my Disney+ membership too! Shame on you Disney.

Disney doesn’t care about maintaining their rides. When they break down they recycle the ride and characters some where else. Do they ask their paying customers first if the ride should be taken down ? No. All the rides at Disneyland Anaheim are in disrepair. The food is really bad and pricey. They lost me as a customer.

  14. Who cares about Johnny Depp or Disney anything they are democrat supporters they gotta be, Disney is all for transg ender lbgt n all that ridiculous crap
