You guys are really changing the Parks to what Walt Disney began. I’ll never come to Disney Parks. Universal Studio and Island of Adventure is where I’ll go This starting November 11 -18

    1. I agree Disney is just one big rip off. No one can afford.

      1. Janet S.

Millions of people annually would beg to differ…

No business owes you a service you can afford, right? Capitalism means that you sell your goods and services for what someone will pay. If someone can’t afford it, they can go somewhere else!

    2. Deena

I never have been and now I have a reason to never go.

  2. Alan Sr

    Another mistake….

One of the biggest reasons that I have always visited Disney is because of pirates of the Caribbean and the haunted Mansion those are the two biggest attractions for me and my family we would wait in line for hours ever since I was a kid our summer vacation was at Disney and we look forward to the pirates of the Caribbean if you close that you will lose so much business instead of closing just bring it up to date with today’s technology. Stop making Disney’s dream Fall apart.

Please read the article. There is no closing or even a plan for closing.

The Inside the Magic staff intentionally wrote their articles in a way to mislead you to believe that.

This article is actually referring to an old attraction that was closed a decade ago, not the authentic original created by Walt Disney himself.

  3. Emilio Polanco

    That’s a lie!

  4. SERIOUSLY!!!!
WALTS last design of his legacy?? Just like Wal-Mart the bottom line is more important then… EVERYTHING!
Kiss my A$$ Disney, I will never visit another park, go to another Movie, etc. As much as possible of any of your companies!!
    Corporate America isn’t even American

    1. Janet S.

Please read the article. This is referring to an attraction that was open less than 2 years and closed a decade ago. The original Pirates created by Walt is still around, with no plans of leaving! Great news!

You all are going from bad to worse. Admit you were wrong to judge Johnny Depp before the trial, apologize, bring him back and make your movie already. You’re going to end up losing the whole company due to your arrogance. Good grief! 🫡

I stopped going when ticket prices crossed $30, that was too much then and too much now.

    1. J Kang

You are stupid . Just say you don’t like parks in general and you are poor old goat

  7. Deena Ellis

Of course you are closing down the PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN theme park attraction and the entire reason is because you have already shut down the one and only original Pirate Of The Caribbean. You really know how to make a good thing go away.

  8. Peacox

My boycott of all things Disney continues. Everyone needs to know how to *apologize*….even Disney!

  9. Kodie

That ride breaks down so often I’m surprised Disney hasn’t been legally forced to close it. I’ve said for years they need to shut it down and replace or redo it from the top down.

  10. Michelle

I understand newness but add on to the park you have the property. Only 3 more classics left if they take away Peter pan, It’s a Small World and Haunted Mansion ill be done those are the only 4 rides I go on.

I knew that was coming after the decision to destroy another one of Disney’s historical attractions, Space Mountain. Why? These are legendary at Disney World. How far are the immigrants that have polluted this state in this country going to go before everything is ruined? They all need to get out, go home. This is America, period! Please stop trying to bring your language and culture to where it does not belong. If you’re so proud to be Puerto Rican, or whatever, then go back there. As far as us true Americans are concerned concerned, you are not welcome here. Pack up, and get out. A country being overrun by immigrants, is the same as terrorism.

    1. Janet S.

Great news! Space Mountain is still alive and kicking! Seems like everybody is worrying about rumors that aren’t true.

    2. Susan Johnson

Big big big mistake. Disney is losing money right and left. Due you honestly believe that this will make it better. You are honestly killing what Walt built. I will never go back now. And I have been going since I was 6 and I am now 72. Big big big mistake. I would not recommend this park to anyone now. You have ruined it.

    3. Milly

Your comment is completely wrong in all levels. First off it has nothing to do with the post. Second Puerto Rico is part of the US, just not continental. So Puertoricans are not immigrants. Third, the only true americans in the US are the Natives since common americans are immigrants themselves or descendants of immigrant that polluted the land. Lastly, theme parks are for children. Classic or not many of those attractions are incredibly outdated and irrelevant to modern society. Many of the guest have no idea or care about what these old attractions are and are just wasting space. That could be used to represent current themes and new tecnology. If your a grumpy old fellow that can’t understand change just say that.

  13. Well that is tbe last straw take away everything we loved ??well there are bigger and better theme parks who don’t rip you off Pirates is the end . Good luck !!!

  14. I will never go to Disneyland again! Closing Pirates of the Caribbean is a huge mistake. I will never go to another movie Disney produces.

  15. Cheri

Disney is getting crazy with all this stuff..you are going to lose millions is loyal followers!!
Bring back Johnny Depp with a huge apology.. which he surely deserves And give us a new pirates movie worth him in it as
    CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW!!

  16. Very Bad Idea. WALT WOULDN’T LIKE IT.

  17. Jack

I got a really great idea why not shut the whole damn thing down you changed it so much it’s not enjoyable anymore and I know for sure the magic is totally gone so save us all a lot and shut it all down.

  18. Annette Mildfelt

You close down Pirates and none of my family will visit your parks. YOU ARE MAKING A BIG MISTAKE DISNEY. Stop looking only at the bottom line. And stop all nonsense. Children should not be brought into your politics with the Florida governor. They know nothing of your problems you created with Mr. Depp. I stopped going to your parks because you have priced the average household out. You all should be ashamed of the decisions you have made.

  19. Diana

I hope all of this is not true cuz if it is Disneyland is really killing all classic rides that have been there for yrs. And rumors about them taking the pirates of the Caribbean that all of the original characters are coming out really its not going to be the same as always Johnny Depp killed it and for them to kill his character is just not cool. Disneyland wants to get new rids put them at Disney California but killing all classic rides or characters its not going to be the same Disneyland

  20. Ronnie

They can’t do that. What is the reason behind this dumb closure? Seriously, now Disney is pissing us off too? Nobody gets to have fun anymore because all of the good rides keep getting shut off

  21. That was 12 minutes of torture that I had to fast-forward through. It probably shouldn’t have been opened in the first place.

  22. Pamela

Amazing how people have such a voice in making these decisions. Reservations to go to Disney World in April for my 75th birthday will be canceling. Pirates of the Caribbean is one of the best rides. We always look forward to going and always enjoyed the movies with Johnny Depp. You guys are really out of touch with what? People and families are looking to do
