Thats not fully entitled. Fast pass use to be free now you have to pay for it and the more you spend the more you can do. So technically this new way is for the entitled that have money
Disney also needs to continue to look at maintaining or replacing the monorail. The deluxe hotels deserve better transportation options, as they are paying premium room prices for limited transportation options. Buses provided for three venues have been doubled and tripled up for these deluxe hotels causing completely full buses which again is unfair to those hotel guests.
Need to upgrade internet services since there is so much dependence on cell phone usage for Genie plus, Hotels like the Boardwalk have very poor internet reception.
Venues like Soarin need a new film for the venue. The number of guests going there deserve something new and up to date, not a rerun. Some rides continually break down so better maintenance needs to be done.
It’s just a lot of talk to try to gin up some stock price action. Typical Iger just talking about plans and ideas to keep the stock price afloat. It’s what he’s be good at and what Chapek wasn’t good at.
I’d love to see a new park, even though the current 4 never gets boring even with frequent visits, the idea of a brand new park is exciting. It would also be nice for a bit of an update in the current parks, although always well maintained, there are some things getting a bit tired.
This is all well and good. But I have visited Disney office the past 30 years and have found the decline in attainment benefit versus cost. It seems now all Disney is interested is how much money they can charge. In doing so I am wondering if the Disney that is Walt Disney policy for everyone is still in the front of their minds. My last visit was a complete disappointment. It seems like the park is turning into a place for the richer population versus the rest of the world. I hope in making these changes he will also consider the families that brought Disney to the forefront in entertainment at the parks will soon be able to afford Disney again , I am a shareholder have been for 50 years and I am so disappointed in the last 15 years, but I still feel what has happened to Disney can be repaired. Thank you.
As a shareholder, you know the importance of profits! We don’t live in a socialist society where everyone is given the same opportunity to participate in things like a Disney park.
The prices should rise to meet demand, in order to maximize profits. Only rich people can afford Louis Vuitton, but you don’t see anyone complaining that it should be cheaper so everyone can enjoy. Disney has become a luxury, and that’s great for business.
Disney should not have shareholders and when I take it over it won’t. I will get the majority of the shares if not all of them including yours if you really are a shareholder which I doubt is true and I won’t be CEO of Disney but the Owner. I will outright own Disney as if it were an NFL team. I won’t be answering to anyone except Walt’s ghost make decisions by asking “What would Walt do?” Profits, schmofits.
I didn’t get to sign my last comment. And then saying that I am also a Disney stockholder for over 50 years, and have become very disappointed in the up-and-down that Disney has gone through. Adding parks and making changes is good but it should be for all income families. Thank you.
Disney is NOT a business and when I take it over it won’t be any more. It will be a private club for members only where only the purists and traditionalists who are loyal to Walt are welcome. Disney absolutely would exist without capitalism. Also there’s something called nationalizing Disney and having the parks under the jurisdiction of the National Parks Service.

Oh NO! Disney has become a luxury brand that not everyone can afford! That’s terrible!
Good Lord, give me a break. Businesses make money. That’s what they’re made to do.
Janet S.
Exactly. You’re not entitled to free stuff, just because You want it. That’s socialism.
Johnny
Actually yes you are entitled to free stuff at Disney. That what makes it Disney.
NJS
Nasty much?

The trouble with upgrades is that people complain about that too. They don’t want anything changing, because then it’s “woke.” Sad.

people need to wake up. Disney is not a good family place. They care nothing about your kids or moral family values. They want money.
Janet S.
Oh my goodness, I never realized. Disney really IS a business?! It’s their job to make money?!
Give me a break. If you believe that companies care about their customers, you’re deluding yourself.
Businesses maximize profits. Welcome to capitalism! It’s what put clothes on your back.
