Agree heartily. Absolutely no need to go there. Watching itbecause its an interesting, complex storyline. If they chose to push an agenda like that, our family would choose not to tune in.
I don’t feel the need for the relationship to be present. Marvel showed in The Eternals a 2 man marriage. I think super heros should be saving the world not displaying relationships. If I want to see romance I wouldn’t watch a superhero show. I don’t expect crime fighting in my romance programs.
