The friend of Merida (character performer of Merida) and the security cast members at Disneyland , should all have their rolls at Disneyland cut immediately and despite being seperated from the company to undergo sensitivity training to be able to interact with ALL guests and issue an apology to the guest, the guests family and an overall apology to ALL guests of Disneyland.
Cast members are suppose to be trained to read each situation and act upon it accordingly without upsetting the guest and ruining the magic.

Not only is he an adult “man” (regardless of his autism), she shouldn’t have to hug anyone she doesn’t want to. In fact, why is “hugging” even a thing???
Exactly! Nobody owes you a hug, including women dressed as Disney characters at Disneyland. The cast members have the right to consent. It is their body and they get to choose. Like it or not, nobody, including people with disabilities, are not entitled to hugs from anyone. These parents need to teach their son the importance of consent and respecting people and their boundaries.
