  1. Disney Ditching

And another reason to cancel Disney+.

      Woke policy

    2. Sharon

Agreed, too little for too much, My original Disney+ good investment fooling forcing sports, but Hulu rising for reruns, lackluster shows far too high, stick at high prices.
Plus the shows that drive Disney+ are valued but these 6 episode blah Marvel attempts are failing. These are big screen with accurate characters (Loki ex). Looking is a great character but misses mark on 6 episodes of boring plots. Wanda started a new approach, characters, writing sets. Looking fails character even a great actor challenges, sets are too blah, and Loli misses the 2022 Loki style, and mischief completely. Step up or reduce price.

Get rid of Woke content, and with Rachel Zagler dissing at Disney’s core customers a la Bud Light Style, there will be more hurt coming their way…

    1. Maybe we can do asleep programing.

    2. Corey

      Truth

  3. Rroe

Just possible that if Disney wouldn’t pay Iger 28 million a year, they could keep many of the Disney+ progams they are cutting. No one is worth this kind of money and they don’t know what to do with it anyway. WAKE UP DISNEY!!!!!!

Once again, these so called “journalists” fail to address the ROOT CAUSE of Disney+ failures. WOKE CONTENT! Parents who understand basic science and biology don’t want their kids brainwashed by the radicalized leftist fools in Hollyweird. Drop the “woke” b.s., Bob and families may come back to Disney for what Walt created it for…..”FAMILY entertainment (Mom, Dad, children). SMH

      1. RC

It’s glaringly obvious that you don’t understand basic science or biology though.

All of Star Wars is woke and most of the Disney library too 🥴

  4. Ura Dumass

IF they get rid of Woke content, The company as a whole would melt and disappear.

  5. Patrick

Just go get an old black and white TV, then you pretend that other races don’t exist all the time!🤔🙄🤪

I was very disappointed that the National Treasure series was discontinued! My family enjoyed the adventures the teens got into. We also watched the Teenage doctor. But not as disappointed as we are with losing National Treasure

  7. Milo

FYI: Disney owns two thirds of HULU. They both share a lot of the same content. Dropping programs happens at every streaming service. It depends on viewers and sometimes it’s because a program just doesn’t work. It’s not really a big deal.

I noticed the article left out a very important reason why Disney+ is failing….once the company went woke, that went against 50% of their viewers political ideals. So, when the more conservative fans started to ban Disney, their streaming platform was the first to go.

    2. RC

Lol Disney has always been woke, ya turnip

  9. James Smith

Streaming is starting to cost the same if not more than cable.
Cord cutting will start to include streaming.
Also, why get a service when they cancel programs after 1 or 2 seasons?
I personally cancelled all services and had an antenna installed.
    No more fees.

So let me get this straight. DISNEY overpaid Iger to undo his replacements “mess” makes subscriptions cost an arm and leg, and punish account sharing. Then want to play victim when having to cancel shows. I’m just waiting for them to utter the phrase let them eat cake

If you’re going to offer less and charge more than expect more viewers to watch and cancel. I’m cancelling Hulu this month because we don’t use it. Netflix is next. I want new content more often. Longer seasons would be a huge plus!

    1. Jay

Exactly longer seasons more episodes of the shows we like would keep subscribers. I agree with that. I hate watching a show with only 8 episodes it feels like the show is rushed and you miss character development on new shows.

    2. RC

Hulu is 2 dollars a month if you sign up right lol, you sound like a baby

  12. Gman

    Doogie what???

  13. Dee

As a huge Star Trek fan, I was always excited to find the actors working on new projects like he new Turner amd Hooch reboot directed Robert Duncan McNeill. Was deeply disappointed that that Disney decided to remove it from all existence. This is why they continue to strike.

  14. Dave

If it isn’t Marvel or Star Wars cancel it all. And use the savings to make better and more Marvel, and Star Wars. That’s their bread and butter, and why must people subscribe.

  15. Austin Slovak

big shot on disney plus was a great show to watch on TV there’s so many great shows to watch on disney plus get big shot back on disney plus

  16. Sarah

Willow is a massive classic film that garnered a ton of excitement. The series however was nothing like the film and thought it gained a lot of viewers who genuinely enjoyed the series, it was unwatchable for a lot of original fans. Willow would be huge for Disney+ if they did it correctly, just like game of thrones. People are itching for a quality fantasy nowadays when most content is sci-fi or cw style low-budget fiction that lacks the authentic world building the film had.

  17. I watching star wars marvel shows awesome and mighty I binge watching awesome do not lose hope
The wonder years reboot sucked mighty ducks awesome. Little mermaid live action suck beauty beast not bad . Finde way to wow the oddiants with new content

    1. RC

Goddamn what a headache that was to read

  18. Plucki

I’ve already lost All my shows on Hulu! Now this? WHAT am I paying you for?? I already had to drop three pay services as it is,because so much was dropped with them PRE-strike! Please get it together,Dis! I’ve been Loyal! It’s YOUR TURN! 🙁

  19. Angie

I became a Disney+ subscriber when it was first started. They increased my subscription last year $ 10 a year( I have the yearly subscription). I got an email the other day that hey are increasing my yearly subscription $ 60 more a month.! It’s unbelievable how can anyone afford it pay that?

  20. Jay

If they want to keep subscribers then stop cutting shows that we want to see. They cut very good shows like those mentioned. Every single show they cut from making another season I liked and watched. Then they want me to pay more for less content. No way. I will stick with free TV or even just Netflix. At least they still reasonable with there content.

    1. Herp Derp

      SouthPark nailed it.

“Put a chick in it and make her gay!”

Woke nonsense policies. I’ve no desire to watch anything Disney puts out.

  21. Jediskater

Why are you paying someone so much to do so little? Is he saving lives on the side? Does he entertain or play a sport? No, he just aides in the brainwashing of our offspring and increases prices, making it unavailable for those on a tight budget. Sad

  22. Mark

The author completely ignored the #1 reason for the drop in subscriptions and only makes excuses. What is that reason? The WOKE culture shift which most Americans don’t consider wholesome family entertainment! We don’t want Disney trying to indoctrinate our kids on LGBTQ issues and rewrite timeless classics to fit this agenda. We parents want to impart our own morals and values upon our kids. We no longer trust Disney to provide clean, fun quality entertainment our children can watch without us being present. Sadly, I don’t think Disney understands this at all!

  23. Curt

Disney has little to offer me. If it weren’t for Doctor Who I’d be gone..
Content is limited to star wars and marvel plus some offshoots of preteens shows.
    They’ve beat these to death.
Notably another Loki which I can’t stay awake for
The ones canceled? Never watched most.
