Yes we’ve noticed recently as well. Some reason Disney started using cheap paint on high traffic areas of attractions since at least the installation of M&M’s Runaway Railway in DHS. And they’re not repainting overnight as needed either. So Things get worn looking quickly in queues. Smuggler’s Run and Rise of the Resistance have similar issues. Smuggler’s Run is intended to look more worn by design, but the worn off paint in many areas is a stark contrast to the fake wearing and looks horrible. In Rise, the worn stonework with worn away paint looks bad as well. There’s an overall problem with the maintenance of attractions and the durability and upkeep of the painting in queues is a visible part of the problem. someone was trying to save money and ut shows.

Disney will not commit to new attractions at the Kingdom. They don’t need to spend. Regardless how disappointed guest and passholders are, thousands apon thousands are waiting to come for the first time. Disappointing but it’s still my magical get away.
