It’s a shame they won’t listen to fans and erase the horrible sequel trilogy. They had a better/more competently story laid out story in the EU and instead, they went for this made up, on the fly trash.
What a treat getting to see Hayden Christensen again!!! We need more! I could watch a whole series of this new version of Anakin being portrayed by Hayden!
Beyond just enjoying the episode, and noting that there are some preceding things I have not seen, it was nice to finally see HC actually prove he is capable of acting. SW Ep 3, which I see as the worst SW movie of all, was full of bad writing, bad directing, and awful acting by HC. It may not have been his fault, but it left a very bad taste in my mouth – but this, to me, redeems him in this role.
I’m so glad to see him again. I felt he never received his appropriate level of appreciation for his work in episodes II & III, so it is awesome to see his performance get some love.

While there are bad inconsistencies between the 3 films, and some rather absurd scenes, not everyone hates the trilogy. I certainly don’t.

I enjoyed them. Yes, dialog was bad sometimes, but I still loved Hayden Christisen in the trilogies
