I lost my taste for Disney when the prices jumped astronomically, just for entrance. Prices for food and gift stores also jumped way high. Add to that, 3.5 to 4 hour waits for rides, the park being so crowded you could hardly turn around at times without someone stepping on you. Walt would not be pleased.
People are going to universal now instead of Disney world because it’s more affordable. My daughter and I both have annual passes but because we are both handicapped and Disney got rid of fast passes we have only gone a few times over that last two or three years. We’re Florida residence and used to love to run up for the day. We knew exactly which rides we could get on with the three fast passes we were allowed. We still made it home in time for my grandson to get out of school. We just can’t do that anymore because there are no more fast passes. I think there should be a lot more perks for people who live in Florida and have annual passes. Walt is crying seeing what Disney World has become. Sad.
I haven’t been a fan of Disney since they raised the prices of Disneyland. I could never afford to take my grandkids. Back in the 60s my friends and I would go all the time but now that kind of trip is impossible. What would Walt think if he could see it today.
I remember when Christmas time was fun at magic kingdom. Fake snow falling music parade fireworks cookies passed out etc all inclusive with a regular ticket or season pass. This after hour stuff is nothing but a greedy money hungry ceo and company and it’s sad

You say Universal Attendance was increasing as Disney Decreased. That’s a lie. According to Universal Orlando it’s parks attendance was down through the 2nd quarter compared to last year . The blame for less attendance at Orlando Theme Parks most likely can be attributed to the hate filled rhetoric of the Petty vindictive Governor & his attitude towards different segments of the Country’s Citizens to the extent that travel warnings were issued for those population segments warning them that they could be endangering their lives by visiting Florida. Which is really a bit of truth. Sorry if this offends you but facts don’t lie.
It’s really sad these days that big corporations charge such astronomical prices. As florida residents we get a measly discount price on admission, maybe a few dollars off. Making family memories in this day and age is a thing of the past.
I pray that one day corporation greed will cease to exist for our future generations to come.
Disney has forgotten the reason why they exist: CHILDREN
Actually just got back from Disney World and this was by far the worst trip ever. Long wait times, overcrowded not to mention everything was over priced. The cast members were rude and always out of character. Never Again
I’ve been to Disney Kingdom so many times from when little on up and I just turned 71… and from Texas…things are not the same…I’ve taking my last grandchild several times with me and have encouraged her to do this with her kids… but this year brought disappointment of the prices going up and to many changes……Walt was a good man and loved his people and enjoyed seeing people happy… I doubt if I’ll ever be back…not the same…

Go woke, go broke.
We live 40 miles away, and don’t do Disney anymore.
