The Magic Key is to cast fro. within the Dianey company for CEO, not outside corporate moguls who dont have the mindset for to run Disney.

The magic that Disney once held for all guests has gone away since the parks reopened after the covid pandemic has started in 2020. Disney caters to people with money by giving them special after the park closes park hours for staying in the super expensive Disney resort hotels that most people can’t afford even for a one-night stay. Disney before the pandemic used to allow guests at all Disney hotels as well as some other good neighbor hotels (hotels from the budget conscious ones all the way to the expensive ones) to enjoy the free after-hours park perk (normally 2 or 3 extra hours in the parks). Hopefully, Bob Iger will return this after hours perk as well as the free fast pass perk to the parks before retiring again in a few years. He also needs to get the requirement to have a park pass reservation for each park day as well as what time guests can start hopping to other parks with a park hopper pass. Disney also takes advantage of the guests from foreign countries that are willing to spend a whole lot more on their vacations because of how far they have to travel to get to the Disney parks & dues to the fact that may be the only Disney vacation that they ever have in their lives. Annual passholders need to once again become a priority for Disney because they often get blocked out of the parks through the park pass reservation system to make room for guests that are willing to spend more money on their once in a lifetime vacations.

  4. What Legacy? The company took a dive during his watch with the help of Kathleen K. and virtue signaling that produced multiple financial hits.
Seems to me they both are competing for who will run Disney into the ground first.

I was watching some old 60’s episodes of “Disneyland” the tv show hosted by Walt himself and it was totally obviously just a commercial advertising the park and the current movie he was promoting (sleepy hallow)

But the new Disney company is still a company that is trying to maximize profits and still brainwash the influencable youth.

Old WW2 Disney propaganda was just as prevalent then as the dei inclusive rainbow stuff they promote today.

Disney influences society to follow the current American government narrative.

There aren’t many things larger than Bob Iger’s ego. UY Scuti comes to mind, but even a hypergiant does not have a picture of itself in it’s bathroom.

What legacy he is once again adding to the destruction of Disney

I didn’t care for Bob during his first go round. I’m even less thrilled at his second. He started most of the projects that Paycheck signed off on. What good has he done for the average guest this time?
    There’s still no Magic Express.
    There’s still no fastpass.
    AP’s are hit or miss.
    Reservations still must be made.
Guests are still buried in their “data devices”.
The Genie+ is nothing more than a money grab.
Food and beverages costs are up while portions are down.
Disney+ is cutting programs, while increasing costs.
Build more hotels without more attractions to make wait times longer. That helps move merchandise when people are standing in line.
Their live-action remakes are not creative nor are their animated features and neither are wanted by viewers.
I think Bob needs someone without their Harvard MBA to help right this ship.
Someone like, well, a common guest.
