I hope this doesn’t mean the removal of certain rides at Six Flags Over Georgia. That park is chock full of older classic attractions like The Log Jamboree, The Dahlonega Mine Train, and The Monster Mansion (which they just updated this season so I highly doubt it’s going anywhere).
They can’t even hire enough employees to have allege rides open or able to use the Waterpark to its fullest due to lack of employees but they charge more for admission but give the customers less
I’ll believe it when I see it. They demolished the Giant Wheel at Darien Lake, a historic attraction from the World’s Fair. They promised a replacement ride. Guess what’s there? Empty land with a light up sign that says “Family”. Yeah. Meanwhile the identity of the park, seeing the huge wheel above the treetops from far away as you crest over the hills to see the park coming up down the road is gone. People were dismayed then and still are. They care too much about water parks and not enough about rides.
They only replaced a small section of Predator with Titan Track when the whole thing actually needs the titan track on it. Make the investment. The coaster is good. It just needs that track to be more.rideable than it currently is. It’s too painful the way it is now. It still carries a reputation as the worst wooden coated in NY not because the layout is bad, but because of the roughness. Fix that and you’re home free.
Completely redo the track on Ride of Steel like they did to Hulk in Orlando. Keep it as is and just redo the track. That ride is also iconic and one of the best coasters around still.
Do the same to Viper. These coasters don’t need to be gotten rid of, they just need replacement track done. That will give them the opportunity to smooth out the entrance to the batwings on the Viper and then it will be perfect. It’s still extremely smooth to this day, minus the entrance to the batwings on both of them.
