Our last trip to WDW will be our last. We too were told about a call from a team leader or something. Didn’t happen. I was told to email WDW and describe what went wrong on our last trip…months later I received a cut and paste response.
Let me be clear – they don’t care. They don’t care if you get sick. They don’t care if you never come back. Disney does not care about you or me at all. Period.
We stayed at Pop Century Aug 2 -7, 2023. The odor in the room was unbearable when we walked in. When we called to complain the housekeeping supervisor came and immediately agreed the odor was strong and sprayed air freshener then sent maintenance to change the air filter. She said they would change the air filter if that didn’t work they would put a machine in the room to clean the air. If that didn’t work then we could switch rooms. They never offered to switch the room again and never called to check on us until I called when we were checking out. They housekeeping supervisor said she had given us a later check-out time for our inconvenience (nobody informed us of this and why would we want to be in the smelly, moldy room longer??) We all left feeling sick with stuffiness and coughs.
My kids always loved Pop Century and even preferred it over higher level resorts. Unfortunately we will probably never stay there again.

The old WDW is dead.
It’s not even safe to go.
