This is blasphemy. May the power of Eru burn you from within

This is a gigantic travesty and attack on one of the most brilliant authors of our time. The ultimate goal is to wipe out Christian hope! ENOUGH OF TAKING THE VOICES OF HOPE AND TRUTH AWAY! MO MORE CENSORSHIP!!!

This is exactly why I dropped the currency years ago to buy the director’s cuts for all six movies on Amazon.
Even when my Prime runs out like Bilbo from the Shire, I still own the digital copies.
If you wants to be the Master of the Preciouses, Amazon helps Master.

If it happens….. they are going to lose a lot of money…. because I’m one of those who is going to unsubscribe to the channels of cable tv

Really??? There are other films and series that warrant being removed from streaming more than the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and the Hobbit. Truly you’re out of touch with the public that’s paying you.

Stop catering to the Minority, Disney is loosing followers due to there Political views and not allowing entertainment be entertainment.

This proves my philosophy of ‘Buy the DVD’. Get all your favourite films and series on disc. The time will come when the only stuff left on streaming services is the politically correct, Woke Washed, asinine, pathetic excuses for movies that are the staple output of Disney and Marvel.
And it’s far cheaper than paying monthly fees…..

    1. I do this as well. I have so many dvds and box sets. We stopped paying Sky last year!

  6. What if have paid for the trilogy(ext) on prime you are stripping me of my possesion. Are we going to conpessated or keep the movies that we purchased in library only?

  7. This is a big disappointment. Walt must be burling in his grave to see the way Disney has declined! Many of Disney’s decisions to buckle under the pressure of catering to the Woke community have required extra vigilance before allowing access to previously beloved content. Very sad!

    This is extremely upsetting.

If Disney literally goes out of business, no great loss at this point. Family oriented, kids safe content is on the rise and we have plenty to watch elsewhere.

And this is exactly one of the MANY reasons that people should invest in physical media collections, and pressure Dis… Evil_Corp hasn’t really supported physical media. They are holding onto hundreds of films that NEED 4k restoration. And when they DO release 4k UHD HDR films, they tend to strip out IMAX scenes, or just do poor quality transfers. On top of it all, they screw the consumer by charging more than their competitors.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! THESE THREE MOVIES ARE CLASSIC AND THATS THE WAY THEY WERE MADE.. LEAVE THEM ALONE! To the ones who are offended by the movies..QUIT GRIPEING(!) and DON’T WATCH THEM THEN.
YOU GUYS ARE UNBELIEVABLE. SHOW SOME RESPECT FOR SOME OF THE BEST STORIES EVER CREATED. I MEAN….REALLY!

Who needs streaming? I own the DVD’s!

I own several iteratons of both trilogies and I will continue to comment on these as I see fit on multiple platforms and there isn’t jack squat you can do about it. However, the prevailing attititude of Tolkien afficianados from gathering and reading the comments is to toss the streaming service into Mt. Doom with your weak dark souls, servants of Sauron. May Eru grace you with the venom of Ungoliant, dripping ever so slowly on your foreheads in the abyss of Angband.

It sort of makes sense because these movies are not a part of Disney. They are under Warner Brothers and if you really, really think about all 6 movies combined have out grossed Disney and Marvel movies. Not including DVD/Blu-ray sales. Yes, this reeks of a bad business move but it also seems like jealousy too. TLOTR movies must be getting more views than Disney tv/movies of late. I am Team Marvel all the way and I am disappointed in how Disney has interfered with Marvel. Nothing has seemed the same since they took over. Disney should stick to what they know and let Marvel do their thing. We should be on the lookout, some big Marvel movies could get the same treatment. It seems like Disney is running around with it’s head chopped off at the moment.

This is why Physical Media is the way to go. They can’t remove the disk off my shelf.
