  1. The Disney Company is losing millions with the woke movies. No one wants to see them. The minority group they are catering to will not be able to help them break even financially. Nickel and diming park guests have caused people to look elsewhere for entertainment. Offers for 25% off of certain resorts is difficult to achieve–black out dates and limited room availability. Disney needs to get back to the basics–families. Ending add-ons like genie plus. Having offers that are attainable. Their film reputation is in tatters. People are waiting on reviews first.

Maybe if they switch everything back to the way it was it would be better. Bring back fast pass bring back splash mountain stop messing with the parks it wasn’t broke they didn’t need to fix it!

  3. Ray

Knock off the wokism and identity politics.Families don’t want to hear your identity politics. You pander to the minority many of who don’t have children and could care less.

No drone Ray that will not happen Woke is a major problem besides other problems. As far as breaking up Disney that would be a huge mistake. So go to your drone master and tell him it is not working but now scram!!

What was it that Walt said? Oh yeah this. “You can’t beat pigs with more pigs.” Meaning you cannot expect to make money with thr same stories and sequels, you must have a new stories and characters. Iger is the king of the sequel and the live action of the cartoon. The first couple of these went well because there was other unique stories that came out around the Sametime and those were a novelty. If you look closely you will see that rehashing the same story whether as live action or a sequel they are not successful as the rule. There are a few anomalies but not the norm.
Further maybe you missed it but Disney Corporation is for sale and one must get the price down in order to sell. Trust me the majority owners will make a very good profit from the sale which I am expe ting to be announced to begin happening in November qnd th3 saleto be completed by the end 2nd quarter 2024.

Woke isn’t working. People want Disney of the past with the original characters. Getting rid of Mickey won’t work. He’s the face of Disney! Prices are insane and eliminate many families from the experience.

  5. Daniel Filippini

Get rid of Iger, Get rid of this woke B.S. Get back to your roots the way WALT DISNEY WOULD WANT ! You have ruined the wonderful dream he started. Look at other business that went woke. GO WOKE GO BROKE

  6. Linda

    Go woke, Go Broke!
Get back to FAMILY entertainment, instead of catering to the woke minority.

  7. Walt

This board can continue to blame Iger. I left Disney LONG AGO (2017) and here’s what woke libtards don’t get – no one had to tell me to do it. We don’t follow mindlessly like they do, but we do base it on facts – not by misrepresenting new laws. They (IGER et al) continue to stick their finger in the eye of what the Disney brand once was. There was NOTHING wrong with the old Disney – if there was thousands of people with alternate sexual proclivities would not have imbibed …so to speak. But this is EXACTLY what Iger wanted to do – his expertise is FIRE SALES – and you can bet it will be for his benefit – maybe he can build yet another extravagant yacht. I could turn this company around – it would not take a genius – restore the magic!

Yet you are still here being irritating

I think it’s a money grab from iger and his cronies. We now get to experience paying more money to stand in longer lines, broken rides, cheaper food options for more money, catering to the minority, getting involved with politics, and all the other self sabotaging happening. Iger is the one who has chosen to continue these practices. Follow the money. It won’t take long to figure out what the plan is

People want to blame Chapek, but lest you forget, he was Iger’s choosen one. He inherited all of Iger’s projects and saw them to completion. He made plenty of mistakes himself which caused his downfall, and now Iger gets shown for who he really is; a failure. Disney, under Iger, has been shown to be against families and for the woke agenda. It has also been shown to be almost bankrupt creatively. It’s all coming to a head now and the entire leadership does not have the intellectual honesty to admit that they are a large part of the problem. The slide will continue until they look in the mirror and honestly take stock of their failures then correct course.

    Fire him.

The Disney company went WOKE, it’s as simple as that. Let those who enjoy the woke agenda enjoy the parks, the majority of us don’t like the changes.

The Disney brand was once sacred – set the bar for loyalty. In the past few years, they blew it off entirely. I live a just over an hr from DisneyWorld – I drive by them to Universal.

  12. Frank

With all of the negative sentiment and attractive intellectual property and robust physical asssets…. Disney is prime for a turnaround story. That being said, I can not stand their content or political stance right now. I am purely invested due to the fact that the company is undervalued right now. For most people, if they just go back to focusing on basics, they will be just fine.

  13. Go back to 2019 from 1971 to 2019 it was the greatest place on earth to take your family on vacation bring these things back magical express, fast pass plus, all 4 dinning plans, plane tickets for return home at resort and last but not least do away with park reservations and one more thing and maybe this is just because of my age but put everything on magic bands I don’t want to even see my phone much less have to use it at the parks Thank you.

  14. Sue

When you pushed your wokeism down our throats you lose. You should’ve stayed out of politics, but you didn’t so now you’re destroying your company

  15. Laurence

    Go woke, go broke

  16. Scott

The price increases that have far exceeded the rate of inflation for the past 50 years have done a lot to damage Disney’s reputation. This company is truly the poster child for corporate greed.
