Absolutely loved the movie! Lots of ride Easter eggs, nice mix of comedy and jump scares, great to have a backstory for the mansion. Also, awesome A-list cast, with some newbies I hadn’t heard of.
I’m tired of “pro-Disney” websites and Facebook pages calling it a “flop” or talking about “how bad it was.” We need to stop measuring the quality of a movie by how it does in theaters, especially opening weekend, especially when there are other very popular movies in theaters at the same time. (Barbie and Oppenheimer.) People in generally don’t go to movies as often as they used to, so families going to Barbie the previous weekend aren’t likely to go see Haunted Mansion the next.

The other movies had nothing to do with it, few people saw it because they don’t want to see a Halloween movie in summer.
