I honestly don’t think the fact that it flopped had so much to do with the movie as it has to do with movie goers not being willing to support the movie studios treating the writers and actors so poorly and especially after the comments that the studio want them to loose their homes.

I think all movies that get released while the strikes are ongoing will fair far more poorly than they would if the studios had done the right thing and that is at it should be.

HAHAHA! That is ABSOLUTELY not the reason this movie (yet another in a long and continuing line for Disney) flopped. If your reasoning was true then every other movie from all the other studios would all be flopping. Yet that is actually not the case. Lots of other movies are making a ton of money. Everyone knows why Disney movies have been continuously bombing at the box office. But you keep sticking to your delusions of “unfair treatment” if it makes you feel better.

I think it has a lot to do with Disney’s track record right now. I have not seen the movie but look forward to it when it hits Disney+. I also think it was bad timing that was not foreseeable, going head-to-head with Barbie and Oppenheimer.

I loved this movie! I was not disappointed. It’s the perfect to start off spooky season, and all of the actors seemed to match their characters perfectly.
