“Imminent End of Disney”… yeah, sure! What a load!

Woke culture is a very small part of the world. You have made it the place to die
You overestimated your worth and underestimated the people who made you wealthy.
    Sad

      I agree!!!

Mr. Iger, didn’t you ever hear the saying “You get more Bees with Honey” so, Lower the “Prices” & then you will see the Crowds pour in. Most Families have 2 or more children, so with todays prices, Disney is put on the back burner. And, a More Affordable Vacation or Day Trip is planned.

They still have a attendance cap. Lower than it’s been in years. And do away with the park reservations may help

oh lawdy!! disney will always be..and disneyworld/ land will survive the attempt by the governor ( who dreams of a dictatorshop) to lessen the impact on just about every child in the world and their parents , of the happiest place in the world..game over, disney wins..ronnie go to your corner and cry..

Has Disney management done anything well and as profitable as it should have been in the last 4-6 years?

I love Disney and Walt’s vision. I’m a Disney stockholder but I see nothing but agenda drivin incompetence in Disney senior management and bankrupt, talentless mess in Disney creative direction.

  6. Disney costs weren’t the issue here. Legal costs from his country were. Disney is an American Icon and will be around for many generations to come.

Not happy. Disney should stick to what they did best – entertainment for families. They should completely stay out of politics and leave it to the politicians.

  8. That will never happen

Get rid of the woke agenda and grooming the kids to accept it. It’s disgusting. Oh yeah and lower the prices so the average person can afford to go.

Get Disney back the way my cousin Walt had envisioned it in the first place. Get rid of Woke & any other group similar completely and anyone who supports them. Bring down pay of the high up leadership including the CEO to where the Castmembers could have a living wage. Get rid of Iger and put in someone who is a Walter Elias Disney fan who is similar to Walt. Then he or she have people giving advice to run Disney who are also Walt Disney fans. No more multimillion dollar per year salaries for anyone! Then maybe Disney will get back on track and my Cousin’s Walt & Roy will be smiling down on us!!

      I agree!!!!

Unlike the politician, WDW only has to hang til end of term! There isn’t another one like Desanctamonial to carry on his agenda and it will die off like the Burgermisters! Worst case scenario would be Iger having to decimate the streaming end of Disney! The Disney franchise will always be Disney corporation, but wouldn’t be surprised if Apple buys off Disney+! Doesn’t mean the ruin of WDW or its parent corporation. All of Hollywood is crumbling and Iger has seen the writing on the walls! Drive in theaters are the dead, movie theaters are failing horribly, cable companies are the past, & broadcast TV is all game shows & reality TV! Even newspapers are dead, news channels are more concerned about ratings than investigative reporting, and on top of all the are the false information being passed around the internet to delude the real issues! Technology is advancing and we are learning that ¹its not always a good thing! More importantly is there is nothing better at making society work than the family unit! If history has taught us anything it would be that morality, councious accountability, and virtues won’t have the impact from government, schools, or even churches without parental guidance! So raise your own kids and stop depending on Disney movies or execs to do so!

The only ones grooming children, are the Right Wing nut jobs shoving guns in their hands before they are big enough to hold them correctly. Stop listening to Fox, it’s lowering your IQ. Disney will be here, long after most of us are gone.

  15. Jerry M Johnson

Disney will be long after Rhonda Santis is forgotten about!

The solution to Disney woes is simple! Follow Walt’s dream and Walt’s dream only! 1) get out of politics 2) focus on a place where parents can bring their children and leave the woes of the world behind 3) Make it affordable for families 4) get growing to bring in the new without letting go of the old; they can exist side by side!

Blaming Chapek for Iger’s failures is disingenuous. From the outrageous spending, to the fall of Disney films, to taking on the state of Florida, to pushing a culture agenda this is fully on Iger. He never gave up his head office, stayed on as a consultant, and forced Chapek down the hall. This entire mess is firmly in Iger’s camp. Iger let Chapek take the political fall then blindsided him out. Dirty deeds all around Disney.

Disney needs to bring the magic back. It’s always been expensive, start making it worth it again. Paying extra for park hopper then requiring 2pm time to it was wrong. Paying thousands for a package then requiring reservations was wrong. Do away with all woke. People don’t want freaks around their kids.

  19. BobDole

Park attendance relies solely on their movies and IP’s to drive people into the park. People stop watching their content, and they won’t bother going to a theme park for something they don’t care about.

Its all connected for Disney, and its all going downhill.
