We need to get rid of these extreme right wingers in Florida. Disney is right and they have money. I don’t want my tax contributions paying for lawyers that are stomping on our constitutional rights, specifically the First Amendment.
Desantis is only interested in anything that will provide positive attention to his campaign. Once the attention becomes negative he wants to “move on”. I pray he moves out of Florida once he loses the Presidential race.
Disney should win. DeSantis is trying to punish Disney for daring to speak out against DeSantis’s law. He is trying to score political points but is losing badly!
I think Disney will win as the state entered into a legal contract in order to save money and development of the swampland known as WDW. This attracted other theme parks to Florida and has made the area the most profitable tourist area in the world. Now a so called conservative picks a fight with the golden goose, it’s crazy and it’s bad business. What other company would come to Florida now if as soon as they are successful the state bails out on their contracts?

I think Disney will win the lawsuits and unfortunately we, taxpayers, have to keep footing these lawsuits that this so called Gov keeps putting this state in. It’s hard to believe that he was even a lawyer and worked for JAG. I hope taxpayers will WAKE UP and vote someone in that will reverse these insane laws being challenged and bring a sense of civility and learning to this state vs brainwashing. Plus, either the State Legislature needs to ACT INDEPENDENT branch of Gov or needs to be ABOLISHED!!! Why would we need them when they have passed everything that this Gov wanted and now we have all these lawsuits!

The special district was created because neither counties could afford the infrastructure that WDW Resort needed (and probably still can’t). Disney BUILT all that infrastructure, roads, sewers, power plant, solar panels, etc. They pay property taxes PLUS the special district tax. I don’t see Universal paying ti do Kirkman Road, etc. (maybe they put on some $ but not 100%). You can always tell when you are on WDW Resort Property by the conditions of the road.

I don’t understand why Disney motion to pause or dismiss the lawsuit wasn’t granted but now that Disney counter sues the board wants that lawsuit on hold. Not cool

DiSantis is a horrible Governor and is a joke as a presidential candidate He should resign as governor and drop out of the presidential campaign before he embarrasses himself any further. Although I would laugh at him running away with his tail tucked between his legs…..
