No Mickey will not be going anywhere Mickey and Minnie, Donald, Goofy and Pluto are the primary characters come to see. They are timeless and will be with Disney for all time the vast majority of Walter Elias Disney will see to that. Everyone make your voices heard on this both by phone and internet. DO I HEAR ALOT OF YES”S !!

Another BS post from this increasingly schlock site. No foundation…should’ve posted it on April 1st & it MIGHT have been funny-ish. You wanted to get a rise out of readers? Got it. Now goodbye.

  2. This can’t be true. Walt Disney created him. What is going on?

I’m sorry but your opinion piece is sheer lunacy. Mickey Mouse is symbolic of the wonderful times and memories we have had visiting Disney. He is the trigger that lets us forget all the societal angst and wokeness that inundate us in the real world. When we see him, we don’t think about the things you mentioned, which we all know, we forget for a while the troubles in the world around us and remember how good life can be.

Drop Mickey Mouse you might as well drop the parks!! I’ve worked there, it’s about tradition!! That’s who the people come to look for!! I’ve seen the light in their eyes when they find him and he hugs them!!!! What’s wrong with you people, have you lost your minds!!! Mickey is Disney regardless of changes you want to
Make … makes me very sad, I’ll not be back I promise you if you do that!! My opinion, instead of Mickey get rid of the person that thought of doing that!😤

My opinion doesn’t mean much but I for one don’t think he should be retired. He’s one of the greatest icons from his time since his birth. My granddaughter has loved Mickey Mouse since she has been able to understand who he is. He represents the kindness and stability that is being lost in this country. I think he shouldn’t be forced to retire.

You forget to mention that the “Steamboat Willie” copyright expires next year in 2024, and the rest of the Mickey copyrights will also expire over the next 65 years. So what is Disney Corp to do? The best and cheapest option is to slowly push Mickey out of the lime light and create new Mascots

Your comment piece is absolutely crazy! No longer will take family of any kind to any Disney place! What a sellout. I hope this cost I hope this cost them big-time.

Mickey Mouse has always been a symbol of the pure joy he brings. I could care less about the other Disney projects, ie Marvel, StarvWars, those are not Disney to me. I’m as excited now 50 yrs later to see Mickey as much as I was when I was 13!

This is absolute insanity! Can’t imagine Disney without Mickey Mouse!
