Is Disney World expensive … yes. Is their above-average consumer demand for Disney World … yes. Is Disney World using price as a way to try to limit demand … yes. Would it be nice if Disney World went back to pre-covid and included the ability to reserve 3 attractions in advance with the price of a ticket … for sure. Does preparation help guests have a better experience … yes. In pretty much every aspect of life, doing a little preparation helps … get used to it.

    1. Most people liked fastpass+ whereas most people hate genie+. they should bring fastpass+ back and only have people pay for lightning lanes for the newest rides. That would be a compromise. It is no fun to be stuck on your phone all day.

      Was disney BETTER BEFORE Genie+?….YES!
Would it be nice to have a little VALUE from disney?…..YES!

Because of “Genie+” & “Lighting Lanes” is it MORE FUN to go to Universal Studio’s?……..YES!!!

Yes. Nothing is more fun and magical than getting on my phone a building, then following a strict itinerary of someplace most of the group has never been. Vaca!

I was at Disneyworld from June 23 to July 8. Magic Kingdom and Pandora were crowded. I only waited 15 minutes to get on Everest and the Star Wars rides. $4.75 for a soda. The food was terrible.

Disney has gone Woke, too expensive, too complicated, too GAY, and the loss of normal family entertainment. Good bye from my family 👪.

    No way!!
The old system was so much better. I refuse to be tethered to a phone and have to pay extra above ticket price to ride on a subpar ride. Also the ability to be stuck in one place till 2pm is ridiculous. Disney has caused it’s own problems and evidently this system is not working. I have been going to Disney since it opened in 71. This is the worse, as a stockholder and a patron not a happy camper. My dollars will go elsewhere.

I love all the people complaining about being “on their phone” at Disney but when you look around at everyone in line … They’re on their phone. And it’s certainly not on the app. Personally I like the app and find it mostly useful. I wish genie+ was cheaper but otherwise I haven’t had an issue with it., And appreciate being able to skip most lines with it.

Everything is very accurate. Where I used to tell everyone to definitely go to Disney World – I would now rather cut off my tongue. It’s just not fun anymore.
