Really just sounds like he’s considering to off load the TV networks, which makes sense, fewer and fewer people watch TV these days (as streaming grows).
I doubt Apple will buy Disney though. It would be a dumb move by both companies (neither really knows the other’s industry, Disney is no Tech company, and Apple us not a media company), and any such sale would likely trigger massive antitrust issues in US and Europe.
First – this is Iger’s area of “expertise” selling off companies – mergers and acquisitions. He has ZERO clue about creative and has let the idiots run and degrade the company. There is one reason Disney is struggling – because they continue to SLAP at least 50% of their consumers in the face with no end in sight. They have FULL knowledge of what they are doing but the elite cabal does not care if they ruin a company – it’s not about profit its about indoctrination.
Second I am not fan of Chapek – but I am tired of everyone dumping on this guy as the problem. Are you really that STUPID? He was HAND PICKED by Iger and carried out what Iger wanted!
Third – have you seen who is now the head of the board of directors – the former director of Nike. Do some research this guy is a real believer – in DEI (racism), wokeism, socialism etc etc – do some research.
Finally – I don’t think Disney can come back from this. If you don’t agree with its direction – why are you spending your money on it.
Total bull droppings. According to the CONSERVATIVE wing of the Supreme Court, corporations have the same free speech rights as citizens do. Disney exercised those rights by objecting to a bigoted, discriminatory law passed by DeSantis, and DeSantis illegally retaliated against against them to suppress their freedom of speech. Disney has ALWAYS stood up against discrimination and for the equal rights of minorities. That’s a good and proper thing for ANY employer to do.

Very well said! Iger has taken a company admired by all and turned it into a radical vehicle for social evangelism.
