David Zaslav is definitely destroying Warner Brothers. His world is cheaply produced unscripted reality shows. He knows not this universe that requires you to spend money to make money.
He also needs to strengthen the Max streaming service. You can’t cancel content slated for the service and expect people to stay subscribers. One way to strengthen Max would be to do more day & date releases like WB did in 2022.
If people knew they had a choice between seeing that new movie in theaters or in their home theater it would lead to more subscribers or the possibility of raising the cost of Max. It’s surprising that he didn’t raise the price when the Discovery Channel content was included.
