    Reduce profit, reduce tax. Simple.

Disney+ has lost billions. Even if disney “breaks even” in 2025, it will take many years to recoup the billions lost to that point. The best idea is to shutdown D+ and replatform to another streamer.

“Comcast will “more than likely” sell its remaining 33% stake in Hulu to Disney”
There is no “likely” to it. Disney is on the hook and MUST buy off the remaining 1/3rd per contractual agreement and it could be anywhere from 15 billion to 30 billion depends on which side wins the value debate. Even at the low end Disney doesn’t have access to 15 Billion without trying to unload something or seek commercial loan and paper is pricey these days. Disney is in a bad situation.

Disney would have lost more had it not unloaded those titles from it’s streaming service so the removal of those titles did not fail to save Disney some money it’s just that other loses like a close to 1 Billion dollar loss on the last 8 films Disney released was more .
