      Disney changes things never!🙄

    2. Abby

Good for you and well said Gary!!

I agree. They are messing with everything. His movies, now his shorts cartoons, his souvenirs at Disney, his rides and who knows what else. I told my mother that I think that Walt Disney’s family should sue whoever is messing with his movies and such because it is all copywrited as far I know. I myself don’t agree with what is going on

      Take your medication, Agnes.

Restoration means returning it to its original condition, the truth is thier altering the shorts to fit their veiws….I say sue them gary!!!!

Trying to appease the woke crowd is a joke. Can’t change history so GET OVER IT. And Disney’s sudden support of the alphabet & pride is in the same boat

Just buy the Walt Disney treasures DVDs that were released in the early 2ks. That way you don’t have to worry about censorship, missimg episodes, artistic destruction, or the cartoons eventually being removed from the service.

Leonard Maltin may be extremely annoying but it’s worth it.

All I have to say is LEAVE THE CLASSICS ALONE.

You just know they are going to cut anything they find “problematic ” and change the diologue to make Chip and Dale gay. If you want to see the shorts as they’re supposed to be, seek out the Walt Disney Treasures tin case DVD editions. All the shorts and no censorship.

LMFAO 😂 “The Goofy Gophers” known as Mac & Tosh from the Warner Bros.’ Looney Tunes animations were far more Queer than that of Chip ‘n Dale. They were of British nationality and were SUPER DUPER POLITE, which gave them a prim and proper Gay aka WOKE feministic flare. You have no idea what you’re talking about!

Looking at the Cinderella movie that I grew up on. I think new version on the right looks much better as far as brighter colors.

To edit is to discredit. It’s the same with the remakes. Why mess with it when the original is the best there is?

First of all, Disney is not going to overwrite original artwork. The originals shorts are loaded up to digital, and then digitally altered. And then the originals go back in the vault. What you will see is basically digitally remastered shorts that have been touched up and had the color’s touched up. I’m pretty sure the originals are safe. Please quit with the unnecessary drama.

The problem is their still changing the shorts, leave the imperfections, it makes you realize how far artistry has came.can disney animators still draw freehand pics or they just woke kids on computers?

  9. Restoring older Movies MUST be a priority .Even Disney himself was always looking forward to new ideas or technology that would improve his Vision.

I don’t think walt was thinking about going back and altering the pass, I think he learned from his mistakes and moved on. You can see that from his work from the 20s to the 50s, he then had the chance to alter them but he didn’t why do it now, I believe that’s something he would have never done. Don’t try to change the pass learn from it, it’s about time the new disney must learn the hard way …$$$$$

Can’t we still have old movies with the new movies without getting rid of anything cause old movies are classics and you aren’t going to get that back once you take it away we need Walt Disney history to brighten dreams of little kids even adults and give hope plus teach us all their different lessons that are in Disney movies

Restoration should not come at the expense of the original artist(s)’s vision.
Is there no way to retouch these classics without recreating? These comments are strictly regarding the physical content, not the storylines. Thank you.

  12. Disney stands for honest creativity old is memories for our kids.so why change history! ….just for profit? Leave walts work alone.

Stereo to Mono. Never ever works. Just an example

Disney– or anyone– should never try to change history. It’s there so we can see how our predecessors thought (and in these cases, did artistic work). We get insight into the past, learn from it, develop new ideas and methods, but we should never destroy someone else’s work! How would you like it if you thought you had left an artistic legacy and someone drew over it and virtually vandalized it?

  15. Jeff Stahlbaum

They’ve gone too far in being “more modern”. What they fail to realize is that people don’t really want modern type stuff, they still want the old style entertainment – the kind Walt himself started up! Bring that back!
