So we’re going to encourage separate characters for each race now? Sounds just like the old days of Jim Crow laws. Disgusting and stereotypical of the black hood life gang culture stealing and laziness. Erasing the past they said would be dommed to repeat it, this is how those things start under the guise of trying to be inclusive but it truly only sets it up for division. You people over here and others over there.

I’m all for black princess but I don’t think they should change the race of the princesses we already have. I don’t think there should be a white Tiana. Just keep princesses as they are add new ones.

NO!!! Alread screwed up Snow White and Tink and Cinderella. Keep with the books. They only get away with it because the authors are Dead.

Does this mean that there will be a white Tianna next?

I’m waiting for a white Tiana to even things out and put perspective on everything.

I would love to see a black Rapunzel
I would also love to see a WHITE Tiana
Guess which one of those will NEVER HAPPEN
And like the previous commenter said we’re getting back to the days of separate but equal
Can’t wait to see the segregated water fountains and bathrooms

They are going to need a lot of weaves. I guess the days of hiring actors based on talent are long over.

For the love of all movies Disney…NO!!!
    Stop the re-makes!
But Disney will cast a black person, simply to say, “Look at us, we’re diverse and inclusive”.
How does the black community feel knowing Disney can’t or won’t create a new princess/prince, or lead character for that matter, with a black person as its lead?
