I don’t think remaking the office with a feminist slant is going to go over well. Would women be happy if Murder She Wrote was remade and they cast a man in the lead rather than the female detective? The Aeronauts is a story based on real life, but they replaced the fellow scientist, a man in real life, with a woman for the movie. Then they erased the actual woman, (the man’s real life wife. )A new Matlock show is being made, but instead of having a male lead, they are changing it to a female role starring Kathy Bates.

I saw an article by Boba Phil who said, “Way back in June 2021, internet movie commentator… hinted that Kathleen Kennedy was going to do to Indiana Jones what she did to Luke Skywalker. Basically, she was going to… replace him with a woman, Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Some people believed it at the time, but it was still just at the stage of internet rumours…On the one hand, no one wants to see Indy reduced to the likes of Luke Skywalker and most of the Marvel male characters…”The next James Bond movie will still likely have a male lead, but there are people who’ve advocated for twisting it up. To quote Manda Scott: “But the old hierarchical, patriarchal, ghastly colonial order for which Bond was always the figurehead can step back now” As for the new Bond, “she’ll be young, perhaps mixed race, definitely gender fluid.”

Why do they want to replace James Bond, Luke Skywalker, and other male heroes with women? It seems the woke in Hollywood and the media (and educational institutions etc.) don’t respect men, even hate men.
