If the doc was just about his animation and other Disney work I would probably watch it. Not now though cause it will all be about his sexuality. Know guys, work with them, but they do not stick their stuff in my face and I do not with them.
We don’t need to know about his sexuality. Parents and kids are fond of his work and want to hear about his genius and career with Disney. Sexuality doesn’t need to be thrown into the story. Our kid are inundated with sexuality. Let them have the fantasy and joy that is or was Disney.
so, do you want the documentary about Walt Disney not to mention his wife at all? How about is daughter marrying a guy who then joined the company because he was married into the family? Is that to sexual? OR is that okay because it’s about straight people? The documentary about Howard Ashman doesn’t talk about anything more sexual than the documentaries about Walt, but because he was gay, YOU inherently think of it as sexual… that isn’t a problem with the story or the documentary, it’s a problem with YOU.
If they are going to back pedal on removing one program they should do it for all the programs. It is unfair to keep one program because of negative pressure from one group no matter who they are or what they believe.

It was made in 2018… they haven’t changed it in the last 5 years. Watching it now won’t show you anything different than if you had watched it then.

So you don’t want a documentary about HIM, you just want a compilation of the work he did for Disney, right?
A biography is supposed to be about the whole person, not just his job.
