The fact that he smoked doesn’t change who he was as a person. Heck, beck in the day, smoking was touted as a treatment for asthma and cigarettes given to wounded soldiers to help with pain.
Changing pictures and altering the narrative will not change history, no matter how much some people try. Instead of trying to alter history, learn from it, both good and bad, and move forward accordingly!
Everyone smoked years ago and it was socially acceptable. Nothing to make a big deal about. Obviously these people saying about it aren’t old enough to remember that. It has just changed in the last 30 years or so. Watch old movies, it was all over them too. Get a grip.
All of you people who are so offended need to get over yourselves. Yes, it was a bad habit but it was the culture and a personal choice. If the photo’s are edited it because you would be the same people complaining about the cigarette in his hand. Do you want someone to ridicule you 60-70 years from now about something you’re doing. Should we erase your history?
