Just because they haven’t decided every single detail, down to the exact timeline of a characters arc, doesn’t mean that they don’t have some kind of plan. There’s a multitude of ways to write something. There’s a difference between story cohesion and lack of preparedness. Some things grow organically especially in storytelling. If there’s any criticism you can make about the sequel trilogy is that it’s clear that they wanted something more than what it needed to work. I don’t think that’s really an issue here.
It’s obvious to everyone that this season lacks focus. Now that the season two ending has been undone, season 3 is just a bunch of random ideas and nonsense thrown together.
The lack of viewership shows that the public has lost interest and not even the little green sandbags coos, can bring ’em back in.
The company that grew from imagination can’t figure out where to take a Creative project? Maybe get input from Disney fans. Make it a contest or a possible way to earn an internship spot
I’m not liking this season as much as the last two. It seems this season is more about Kryze than Mando and Grogu. She had her shot. She screwed up way too many times. It was her dealings with deathwatch that allowed Maul to take control of the Madorlorian empire. Which lead to the empire taking over all things Mandalorian. She destroyed everything, even her sister’s life.
I agree. I don’t like the storyline with Kryze either. Although interesting and a way to bring Mandalorians together that have been scattered across the galaxy, I don’t like her as the leader. Mando and and Grogu are who the show started with and now that they’ve gotten away from that storyline the show isn’t nearly as much fun to watch.
The mandalorlan is great series although a bounty hunter he is always helping others he is a true hero and that’s what we need is more heroes grogru will be a great side just keep going it’s great
I’ll give them a direction. Make it a weekly hunt for different bounties. Then add in hints of the empire reforming. Maybe give some background on who and where snoke came from.
I think you literally misinterpreted everything Dave Filoni said. And to title the article the way you did is absolutely ridiculous and not true. I respect your opinion, but I think you are very wrong.
You all aren’t true fans. This is the best season by far. How can grogu be the main focus right now and he is still a baby. Get real. And for those complaining about bo katan, she is the main mandolorian and should have the spotlight. The show is called the mandolorian not din Jardin. It’s about the rise of mandolore. Watch clone wars you mightlearn something
The show is not good. I’m surprised it’s taking some people so long to realize this. It was the best of the awful SW shows and movies Disney put out but that isn’t saying much. All of Disney SW shows are babysitting adventures and it got old. You got the Morondalorian babysitting Grogu, the Bad Batch babysitting Omega, Boba Fett babysitting the whole criminal underworld of Tattoine, and the whole thing is just a giant, meandering, mess of eastereggs or cameo. The only good SW material left is in the comics and especially the novels. The books are excellent. So much so when you read them they feel like real Star Wars and makes you realize just how bad Disney has made a mess of things.
The show is all over the place. Don’t get me wrong, there are some good/funny scenes in the show. But it seems writers/producers are adding material to set up future spin-offs, rather than focusing on the main characters that brought excitement to fans/viewers. There needs to be an antagonist who brings out the best of both Din/Grogu, so that they can grow; so that WE can grow. Enough with making Din look like a helpless individual. Stop it.
to be fair, vince gilligan had no idea where the final season of breaking bad would go after they filmed the first episode with the M60 in the trunk. sometimes “directionless” is just an indicator that writers are willing to allow the characters themselves to dictate the outcome, rather than imposing their own ideas. i am hopeful.
It’s sad but this season is just awful and even if I had not cared a bit for Cara Dune and didn’t care if she was gone or not this season is just plain bad. However I don’t see why Grogu has to be anywhere during the sequel trilogy. It’s a BIG galaxy, he could have been somewhere else in it. Not everyone in the galaxy was in the ST. Just a relative handful of characters. So just assume he was elsewhere and don’t worry about it.

They should have just left grogu with Luke.
And mando on his own
Mike
They were supposed to, Kathleen Kennedy ruined it when she added Grogu and Mando to The book of Boba Fett.
Me
Luke should have never been in it.

Once you learn how shows like this are made, you will understand.

Looks like a slow news week, hunting for views. I’ll be blocking this site from my recommendations. Shoddy.

I watched the first season for only one reason, Gina Carano. She’s gone, and I’m gone.
