I think it’s awesome that Harry Potter is being made into a TV series. That way, they have time to show off every part of the books and not being forced to trim into a movie.
The Harry Potter series are the best novels ever written in the history of the world – and the most sold. It deserves to be presented in its entirety in a TV series. I just hope that it won’t be dark and dingy like the movies.
What I had against the original movies is that they felt rushed, like a condensed version of the books, as if they had to try to cram too much storytelling into a very short time. A TV series, ideally, should provide them with enough time to tell the story and the kind of detail found in the books.
