I think it should be everyone like before covid, or at least people staying on property nit just passholders. We pay a goid amount if money to stay on site, so we have extra perks, bur disney seems to have forgotten others.
I totally agree as a DVC member. The annual costs for maintenance and the property taxes are already a pain in the butt. DVC members shouldn’t have any restrictions.

I agree with you the reservation system needs to go. We are not in pandemic times anymore and as far as I can see every time I’ve gone there it’s crowded, so what good is it and that after 2 o’clock annual pass holders can go without a reservation, it does no good if we live hours away. Even Universal Studios doesn’t have a reservation system and they are doing just fine. Get rid of it.
Agree. I have always gone to Disneyland or WDW every year!
The reservations made it impossible for me! Haven’t been back since the reservations! Do not intend to u til they are gone!
It’s about time they did away with the reservation system all together, not just for annual pass holders. When I’m on vacation I don’t want to have to be on my phone to make a reservation for a park, a ride, etc.. I want to be able to relax. Staying on property had its perks and we paid good money for those perks. Bring back the old Disney, it was much more relaxing and fun.
The reservation system needs to be permanently retired. WDW doesn’t use the reservation system to control the size of the crowd, in my opinion, they use it to control what type of people are entering the park. They only want the people they feel will spend lots of money on extras like Genie+, private tour guides, merchandise, and sit down restaurants.
Disney just keeps making things more confusing for guests. Drop the reservation system entirely. Too many confusing rules and too many extra charges. Bring the magic back.
The reservation system still sucks and is so unnecessary! The reason for having annual passholders was to be able to go to the parks any day any time seven days a week and it worked this new reservation system is still unfair. Disney still caters to the tourists staying on property! They are here for a designated time frame. Annual Passholders living in Florida maybe retired or still working so they have to go on the days that they are free to go. What’s it going to hurt to go back pre COVID excuse?
I’ve been going to the World since the 1990’s. Seen so much change. I bought the Annual Pass and was going up to four times a year. Coming from Wisconsin is a big deal. Bringing kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews. As many would fit in the pop up camper. Now that World keeps changing the use of the Annual Pass. Such as high price, times and dates it can be used, blocked dates and times, reservations, etc. It takes all the Magic out. We now come MAYBE every two years or more. So sad.
BRING BACK THE MAGIC!!!
SIMPLE, UNCOMPLICATED, NON TEC SAVEY, FUN!!!

I have NOT gotten a pass for Disneyland because of the reservation system. It sucks and I’m not giving any of my money to Disney until they bring the Magic back.
Exactly !! The excitement of vacation is being spontaneous. My last visit of many was under the genie / reservation rule. I won’t return until they are both history

Just drop the Damn reservation system completely. For Florida residents, gone is the day when you decide the night before you want to go to www, or even the morning of. Get rid of reservations completely and you might have more people of your side with this tit for tat with flori-DUH gov. ron DUH- santis
This is so annoying. The reservation system is antiquated and highly unnecessary. People spend close to 200 PER PERSON for a day in a theme park, let alone paying hundreds of dollars more for souvenirs and food. It’s not airline travel or a cruise/hotel. People are starting to go to alternative places where this kind of stuff isn’t required for their entertainment.
I think they should do away with the reservation policy. We pay good money to stay on property and should be able to come and go at our leisure. Go back to the way it was before COVID!
I haven’t been back since the reservation system was put in place. I probably won’t be until all of the reservation system – as in all – is ended. Too much trouble. When I visit the parks, I want the freedom to drive up, pay for parking and ticket, and walk in whenever I please.
In years past, when you purchased a package and stayed in Disney. You got all the magical perks. Now, value resort guest don’t get magical hours. No more magical express. Staying on Disney property, you shouldn’t need reservations and you shouldn’t have to wait till 2 to parkhopp. Years ago park hopping was included too.
Disney fess up and admit it. Your reservation system has nothing to do with Covid. You’ve gone woke and feel that all of your paying guests shouldn’t be free to enjoy themselves at their own free will, but rather need to be controlled and taught what’s permissible to enjoy.

Reservations are for restaurants, not theme parks.

not true

Not when too many people visit at once. It’s a safety hazard.

Awesome! Now do the ones in California as well. It is beyond time to get rid of the reservation system for the parks.

Yep it needs to go for everyone, why does Disney do everything the most complicated and difficult way, crazy simply crazy.
