Same reason the abortion pill fight was such a stupid one to pick. Big pharma doesn’t care about abortion pills. Oh, and you’ll shoulder the massive bond debt that Disney has, raising your already exorbitant property taxes by an additional $2000- $2500 (estimated) per year. Congratulations; you win. Lol.
Oh, and you’ll have also destroyed hundreds of small businesses that depend on Disney, and deprived the state of hundreds of millions in tourist dollars. But – you win.

As a yearly patron of Disney parks since 1971, the Florida governor and legislators need to stay out of Disney’s business. Disney has smarter lawyers and bigger pockets than the state. There are bigger and better problems in the state to deal with than picking on this very successful company.
