Just as long as Disney gets back on Walter Elias Disney’s track and gets rid of the Woke track and Cancel Culture track for ever it is OK!

      This guy again.

While some of their recent decisions have been questionable and not in the best interest of the shareholders or fans in my opinion, I don’t think the governor should use the legislature to change a law just because the Mouse’s lawyers were smarter than his.

And moreover, whether you agree with Disney’s stance (or content), the government has absolutely no place in it. Desantis is plainly violating disneys constitutional rights in his culture war. The government cannot punish someone for expressing an unpopular opinion, that’s foundational to this country

          This!

This crap may help him win the GOP nomination (although Trump will bloody him) but it will not help with swing voters and it becomes a base turn out election. Desantis does NOT have the appeal Trump does for that especially given that Dem base voters are turning out in bigger numbers due to Roe. Many major companies will back the non Desantis because they don’t trust him to now mess with business. Something Trump mostly understood. Same reason the abortion pill fight was such a stupid one to pick. Big pharma doesn’t care about abortion pills. They sure as hell care about a judge being able to revoke their FDA approval on lucrative meds. This was a dumb ass war to do and with the sleeping giants involved it’s gonna be brutal

I like when Gary puts on his Clown Makeup. Does he bring it with him to DeSantis rallies?

Either Mr. S1 and Mr. Gary share the same padded room or they share the same cranial space and the room lighting determines which personality comes out. Not hating on those with mental illness, just a friendly observation here.

    1. Bob

In this case it’s safe to say stupid is not a mental illness. So please feel free to hate on stupid.

    Are you being sarcastic?

  4. Bob

Yeah good luck making any of that happening.

Disney is Florida’s largest single employer and the largest corporate taxpayer. Destroy that and you can look forward to paying a state income tax. Oh, and you’ll shoulder the massive bond debt that Disney has, raising your already exorbitant property taxes by an additional $2000- $2500 (estimated) per year. Congratulations; you win. Lol.
Oh, and you’ll have also destroyed hundreds of small businesses that depend on Disney, and deprived the state of hundreds of millions in tourist dollars. But – you win.
Do any of you rwnj trolls even think about the larger picture?

DeSantis is just embarrassed so needs to puff his chest out and be a “man”. Leave Disney ALONE governor, go find another fight like supporting those who need assistance. So many poor children in this state. Use your energy to help them!!

I think it’s time Desantis puts on his big boy panties and acts like a man and not a child who is mad cuz someone didn’t like what he was doing. Forgive any of us even the Mouse for exercising our freedom of speech. This guy is trying to rule everything we do and say. I thought this was a democracy.

As a yearly patron of Disney parks since 1971, the Florida governor and legislators need to stay out of Disney’s business. Disney has smarter lawyers and bigger pockets than the state. There are bigger and better problems in the state to deal with than picking on this very successful company.
If it ain’t broke don’t try to fix it.

DeSantis needs to leave Disney alone. He got out maneuver and now wants to act like a fool. Who needs another petty President
