I don’t think people realize what this means. Han solo, princess leia, chewbacca, and Luke Skywalker among others were very prominent in the three book aired the Empire trilogy. We’re looking at a whole another adventure in casting and in story writing.
George Lucas, sold chapters 7, 8 & 9 to Timothy Zahn (Which became “The Thrawn Trilogy) Timothy Zahn also had issues with Mr. Lucas over the video game “Star Wars : The Force Awakens” so maybe now that Disney is “in charge” Mr. Zahn might want to see his books done right
